I'm waiting until price drop (unless anyone is very generous for Christmas/Birthday). However I saw plenty of friends on Facebook who purchased an Xbox One & they all seem to be happy with it, no reports of any issues as of yet. The lineups for both are obviously a little limited currently & lots of other features & updates on way. So going to be a while until they start to properly show what they are capable of & get full amount of features available. PS4 isn't available here yet but I imagine I will see plenty of Facebook updates on those too soon.

Had a little play around on a friends and dashboard works well, no input lag and nice to be able to flick between apps/games and TV at will finally without having to close one to open another.

One thing I didn't anticipate is that games are like 50gigs now, and have to be installed to play for now on, so I'm wondering how that will work out later on with an internal hard drive.

Thousands have been recalled due to hardware problems so I'm gonna wait till it's all sorted out and they go down in price, oh and i'll be getting the PS4 not the X-bone. The Xbox has got problems plenty of people complaining them so it's not just sony that cocked up I saw youtube video of a broken disc tray eating a xbox one game. :p

Estimated by Sony to be between 4000 - 10,000 consoles affected by the HDMI, Blue Light Of Death, and HD issues (small number in grand scheme of things). Amazon has had troubles with faulty batches according to reports and only have to read the verified purchases to see the ones who had trouble and the ones that didnt. Though dont know how anyone can review a product based on theirs not working, seems a little idiotic to me as you havent sampled a working model to base your opinion on. Like giving your opinion on an ice cream flavour when your only experience with it is someone attempting to pass it to you and then it dropping on the floor before you can taste it.

Also been small number of Xbox Ones having issues but Microsoft have fast tracked them through the support exchange (they will ship you a new one before you send yours back). At least its not the same issues affecting all the faulty ones and there is no RROD repeat. Reports have been rumoured that some of the PS4's could have been sabotaged by unhappy workers.

Yeah I hate people who review something on a bad experience makes them look like spoiled children to be honest and doesn't give the reader any information whatsoever.

Ironic as I have seen someone testing running a PS4 through the Xbox One Dashboard.

We all know about the issues static can cause to PC's if you dont ground yourself before you touch the insides.

That's awesome! hahaha.

It can subvert the cable box, I should have known!

UK is having some issues with TV integration and it having some screen flicker on Xbox One as our output is 50Hz instead of 60Hz but there are work arounds and Microsoft are working on a fix apparently.
