Nice one, mate! Managed to play about 10 mins of Trine 2 last night - looks pretty interesting. Can't wait to see what co-op's like.

Sounds good mate! I'm still recovering at the min, but already feeling a lot better than I was on Monday (sleeping in a bath because you're so cold is no fun).

No worries mate! Was trying to get on earlier, but my youngest wouldn't settle until 10pm. Might be online around lunchtime if you fancy having another stab at Resi!

Liking the new forums stuff Steve, keep up the good work. Are you planning to roll out all these changes to all of the network or is it just Pego for now? For instance can we expect stuff like that on Greyviper or DMC?

Harro mate. That's a very unusual question! Ads are disabled for registered users and there presently isn't a way to enable them.

Did the site get more hits since Lionhead closed down its forums or that worked against Projectego.net's popularity?

Well isn't traffic monitoring important for Projectego, since it is mainly funded by advertisements and donators?

That was the case at one point, but, in truth, this place generators so little revenue (we're talking less than $5 per day) that it simply isn't an issue. I could review the logs on an almost constant basis, as I once did, but, it takes the fun out of a fansite when all you're doing is looking to monetize it and take the focus away from what we're really about.

The way I see it: if people visit - awesome; if people register - even better; but I don't worry myself over trying to over advertise the place. We have some great content on here, mostly thanks to the community, and that helps to bring in the true Fable fans.

Steve, what made you start projectego?
      1. Steve Powell
        Steve Powell
Hello mate! Good question! The simple answer would be: me and DD had a spare vBulletin license knocking about, and we were both quite partial to the original Fable game, so we thought it might make for a good idea to kick off a little Fable-themed community.

Fast forward however-many-years it's been and here we are now. :)

      Long time ay??

Im not going to really be back on here that much, but I have had some fond memories of this place and the people on the site, so Í've decided to donate a little bit! adding my little bit to the site and hope that the site can keep going and going!

'Allo chum! Not bad, not bad. Can't complain. My youngest can be a bit of a nob and demand feeding when he can see I'm busy doing other stuff -- like playing Resident Evil 4 or something -- but I'm coping.

        How's life treating you, bro-ski?

Crap - sorry about the late response there, mate. Dunno why I hadn't previously receive your message... Anyhoo, sy step-daughter is ten and my eldest son is, like, about 2 - or somewhere in that region. We measure age by the amount of time we lock the kids in the dungeon for, nowadays. Jake gets roughly 44 minutes 'cage time', as we call it, so he's probably just about pushing 3-years-old now.
