The issue is that Lionhead is constantly trying to bite off more than it can chew. They makes promise after promise only to fall short in what they make the players expect. This delay is a perfect example. The original release date was December 12, the it was changed to December 22, and now it is January. Lionhead needs to learn to take it one step at a time instead of stumbling along and getting ahead of themselves or at least explain why there are delays like Nintendo did with Twlight Princess in which gamers were annoyed at the delays until Nintendo explained that htey had gone back to the drawing board to make the game be multi-platform, which quickly silenced the annoyed gamers.
Also, they announced a patch a good while ago, and we have yet to hear more about, nearly one and a half month later. Bethesda, the maker of the Elder Scrolls series, on the other hand released patches to fix problems for the game within a couple weeks every time there was an issue that was raised.
Frankly, I think Lionhead really needs to get in gear and adopt a much more professional and cleancut attitude towards game making like Nintendo, Bethesda, or Square Enix(often hailed as the best company in video game history), or eventually they are going to get a reputation as bad as EA.
