Should I buy a XBOX 360 only for playing Fable 2.

First of all I wan't to apologize, because my english is not that good. But i try my best , so you can understand me.

Ok let's start, I'm originally a PC Gamer, I bought Fable TLC 5 Days ago and I'm finished with my second , now evil char, in a few hours (I finally stopped playing MMORPG's). Ok the main Quest is finished but I will play my chars until I have everything. The thing is I'm looking forward to buy the xbox 360 just for playing fable 2. Is it worth, or should I wait until it will be released on PC?

Whats your opinion?

I love Fable 2, and it's the main reason I bought the 360, but have loved a lot of other games as well. I guess it just depends on you.

If you have the funds to buy other games later on, then yes. there are plenty of good games for the 360 but if you only had one game it would be sort of a waste. Fable 2 was the main reson I got mine though. So yes I say get a 360 (besides, I dont think it is ever going to come out on PC) and enjoy Fable 2, and you will surely see how fun the 360 is and buy other games as well.

Yeah, The main reason why I got the 360 was because of Fable II, I have found alot of Other games that are just as good on the 360 aswell!

So deffinetly get one!

Thank you very much for the plenty of answers. OK,ok all of you convinced me. When I'm finished with working I will buy the console and Fable 2 and tell my girlfriend I've no time this weekend

. No maybe she will join me playing Fable 2 or our daughter we will see...

There is one question left. if i'm going to buy the arcade XBOX version is there a chance to download a new Fable 2 Expansion. Cause the Arcade version just have some kind of memory stick.

I got the 360 because of Fable II but there are a lot of other great games for it too. I would recommend getting at least the pro version. If you get the Elite it will soon be bundled with Fable II and Halo 3. That would be the best option if you have the finds for it

Your initial question has been answered; and I am pleased you are happy enough to consider buying a 360 for Fable 2; I bought my 360 Only for Fable 2; though I had to wait for a couple of years for it to be released of course; I have an Arcade 360 at the moment; but I have the Hard Disc from my original 360 in it; so although I don't remember the space needed for 'Knothole Island'; considering we have the second DLC 'See The Future' in less than 14 days; I would consider buying a 360 with a Hard Drive;

There are MANY MANY more reasons to get a 360 than Fable II so i dont think it will end up being a one game console to you thats for sure.

Why not buy the new Game of the Year bundle? Halo 3 and Fable 2 + Xbox 360.

As Drakan said, buying a console for one game as a little silly. I only wanted a 360 for a few games but since I've had it, i've bought a fair bit of games.

If you do buy a 360, you'll end up finding other, similar games or ones completely different.

plenty of other great games for the 360 that you might be intrested in. Plus the 360 is like super cheap now

As much as I like Fable 2 DONT buy it just for Fable 2. It is far too short and not as re-playable as the first. As long as you buy it with interest of other games too it should be a good investment of your money.

I bought mine principally for Fable 2, although Assassins Creed came out not long after so I couldn't pass up that opportunity.

Im an ex-PC player also (forced by my PC breaking), I cant say I would reccomend getting an Xbox 360 purely for Fable 2 (its like asking should I buy a PC just for WoW... theres pleanty more than just WoW on a PC).

Fable 2 is an awesome game and has recently grasped some more of my interest with this upcoming DLC, so I can recommend it for the Xbox360 but I cant justify simply buying an Xbox 360 solely for Fable 2, have a look what other games are out there that might spark your interest and if there are more than 5 titles that you are interested in than I would suggest you start saving some money for an Xbox 360 & Fable 2.

No, if it is only for one game don't waste your money, just buy computer version, if you know ppl who have 360 and stuff well then you decide.

Well, I really liked Fable 2. And I have a 360. But I probably wouldn't buy a 360 because of Fable 2.

Ja, kauf es! Ich habe mein 360 gekauft, nur um Fable 2 zu spielen. Aber dann habe ich gefunden, dass andere 360 Computerspielen auch gut war. Und Xbox LIVE ist naturlich der Hammer.

My german is probably a lot worse than your english lol. And before anyone bitches at me for the language thing, I told him to buy it, because I bought the 360 for fable 2 and found that i liked other games on it.
