Re: Which DLC?

I am assuming anyone reading this thread has played the DLCs....I do not think that I can choose between the two because they offered different features, which is what I think LH was aiming for. Knothole Island was geared towards Weapons, Augments, and Clothing while See the Future offered Dyes, Hairstyles, Makeup, and futuristic clothing.

I will say though that both DLCs were something of a let down in the storyline tie-ins and quest opportunities:

KNOTHOLE ISLAND
-Knothole Island (DLC) never explores the possibility of visiting the old Knothole Island aka Knothole Glade after it has been abandoned, which would be have been very interesting due to 500 years of people not being settled in the old village and the Arena being abandoned. I think it would have been fun to explore the ruins and have your character learn about the different Heroes who fought in the Arena such as Scarlet Robe, Thunder, Jack Slayer, etc.

-There was an opportunity for a short quest involving the Resurrection Shrine, but instead the DLC has it discovered via chance. Why did LH not take the chance to expand on the Epilogue and have a quest involving the Hero finding out about a possible way to bring his dog, finding information about the crypt, etc etc?

SEE THE FUTURE
-While the Snowglobe slightly ties into the story of Fable 2, the Cursed Skull plays no role at all. The Cursed Skull portion felt horribly detached from the rest of the main See the Future quest except that it was Theresa who gave it to Murgo.

-Throughout the entire Snowglobe Quest, there is no mention of Reaver at all as if the villagers have no clue why they are cursed or who caused their pain.

-Why did they have the Colosseum after The Vision? Having the Colosseum as the last quest seems to take away the impact of the Vision. It isn't as if they could not put the Colosseum as the third quest because it can be revisited as many times as you wish whereas the Vision cannot. It seems like poor storyline and priority planning to me.

One last thing that irked me about the two DLCs was they used the flit switches and "fight waves of enemies until the door opens" far too much. They need to design fresher puzzles.

Knothole Island.

I don't really like the See The Future DLC all that much, =/
The quests were pretty boring, imo.

And the Colleseum was sh!t easy.

YES! thank you i am so bored of those flit switches and blue plates, lets see some more sun and moon tiles and the HITS rocks, there around but never have anything to do with the story. fable 1 had much better puzzles
