Furry Vengeance Review

I recently went to see the movie "Furry Vengeance" with a young lad for something fun to do with him. He seems interested in comical movies that involve wilderness animals. So we went to the movie to watch it and I respectively would recommend the gallows before this movie. It was absolutely horrible. The main character was played by Brendan Fraser. I lost all respect for this actor after watching this movie. Brendan must of lost a bet or something to play a role such as this one. Poor guy, his career probably plummeted after this movie.

The movie did have some good actors in it such as Ken Jeong and Wallace Shawn, but other than that, the movie was an epic fail.

Even for the young ones, the movie was awful. Don't go to see it.

The movie was incredibly stupid, without a doubt. The theme is pro-earth and is strongly for the environment, The entire time throughout the movie a bunch of wilderness animals are trying to ruin the life of Dan Sanders (main character) because it is his job to turn a large wilderness area into a suburban community. His bratty son (Matt Prokop) is for environmental success and is against his fathers career. So the animals are making a fool out of Brendan Fraser the entire movie in things such as annoying him with a crow poking at the window as he trys to sleep, hijacking his car, trapping him in a porta-potty as a bear knocks it over and puts it in a tree, trips his pants, throws him in water, ect. The things done to the main character making him out to be stupid and very annoying. his stupidity was annoying.
Unless you have a strong hate towards Brendan Fraser, go see it, the movie makes a total fool out of him.

I made the mistake of taking him out to see the movie last minute for there was not really anything else playing and he still wanted to see a film. 1.7 is an appropriate rating.

It looks absolutely horrible in every plausible way, and there is no way I will ever be dragged to see it.

Brendan Fraser is a **** actor to begin with. He didn't need any help.

Oh, thought it would be a movie about those furry lovers getting their revenge on the world for being total outcasts of society.

Re: Furry Vengeance Review

Meh, Jessica would probably still want to see it. We went to the cinema the other weekend and missed the last showing of Furry Vengeance so watched Prince of Persia instead...

She liked the animal antics of Evan Almighty so she'll probably like this one as well.

Re: Furry Vengeance Review

Well this issue is, all the humor is crude. It is about animals in a way that it would be appealing to younger children and such, but the animals basically put the main character is such posistions to wear womans clothing, be trapped in a porta-potty half naked, and things along the lines of that that I would not really recommend being the type of things I would want a young little girl to see...

I would stick to prince of Persia. :p
How was that movie anyway?

Re: Furry Vengeance Review

Sounds like a live-action version of Open Season to me...

So long as you're not interested in a particularly deep or even vaguely thought-out storyline, it's great. Unexpectedly funny as well, I found. Although Ben Kingsley looked a little Ming the Merciless but with a shorter moustache

It's just action, lots of jumping around, ostriches and some barely-disguised political wrong-doing but Jessica really enjoyed it and so did I :D

Re: Furry Vengeance Review

just take my word for it. You won't like it. I promise. The eight-year old kiddo I took found some parts humorous, but it really was a waste of both our times.
