No Scythe in Fable 3.

No Scythe in Fable 3.

So I was surfing the Fable wikia, and I came across a section confirming Scythe as the man in Rose's letter, and so I clicked the source, which sent me here.

That post, by a member of the Lionhead Dev team, Gradius1, is in response to an arguement about whether or not the man was Scythe or not, and says:

Yes it was Scythe and no he is not returning. Whether he does in the future is another story, but currently not planned to.

So, it would seem Lionhead aren't putting Scythe in Fable 3, perhaps not even in any other Fable game.
This is major suckage as many of you know, but I would like to hear people's responses and ideas on this. Discuss.

How? Rose is alive, scythe looks after her. scythe leaves when shes an adult and she ages after that and should be about 60 for fable III.

Wait a sec... I didn't play F2 so I'm not that well informed, but Rose you are talking about, is it Briar Rose from TLC?

Scythe wont appear, Rose will not also, Rose was older than Sparrow on Fable II, if Sparrow is dead on Fable III, then Rose will be as well

No, this Rose is the sister of the Fable 2 hero.

Just because she's older, that doesn't mean she died first. We don't even know how the Hero of Bowerstone died; it might not have been of natural causes. There's nothing to suggest that Rose will or will not be in Fable 3. We just don't know.

i am kind of 50-50 towards this, i liked rose but it is not really important to have her back, if any it would be just for nostalgia.... scythe is more of a lore character, to him logan is just another tyrant, but if was another jack of blades, then he might be a reason for him to come back.

Scythe could be in the next game. Gradius1 didn't say he wouldn't be in Fable III specifically. Rose could be as well. Its more likely we'll see a reference to them than the actual people, which is a huge let down.

I don't mind. I liked Scythe and all but it doesn't really concern me. I miss Rose... :'(
