Good News You Fable Fans

Since both Halo: Reach and Fallout: New Vegas were both huge disappointments and huge money rockers.. All Fable 3 has to have to win GOTY is to have a good story, and fewer glitches than Fallout. Fallout took me 5 hours to beat, and succeeded in making me seriously doubt any franchise anymore. After reach I thought "hmm.. maybe fallout can turn my frown upside down." but i was mistaken.

now its left to my last respected developer to fix my gamer poison. only in this game, three counters kills.
so if f3 is a great game. it should win GOTY since both bethesda and bungie failed to deliver.

*side note - yes reach multiplayer kicked ass. until a week later. now it is super boring.

Being that it's the last halo game that bungi made it's going to win ( I personally think it should be Mass effect 2 but too many people will rage if it isn't halo)

Fable 3 as a game seems pretty fresh, due You being a revolutionary and ruler in the same game. I hope their ambition has payed off.

Oh, and just so everyone is aware. Bethesda is not to blame for the new Fallout's flaws. That would be Obsidian, not Bethesda ; ).

I agree Tyrant Lord! It had everything. And even the glitches were funny.

But if RDR doesn't win then i want fable 3 to win. I have a feeling this game will be great.

lol everyone here is way ahead of themselves GOTY? hell it's not even out yet I mean I love Fable for all that it is flaws and all but you know we don't even know what the whole monster is yet I loved Fable 2 but I don't belive it deserved a GOTY especially considering that without the add-ons there was not even a single real boss battle so yeah I am damn sure as long as it still has it's Fable beauty and Fable humor and Fable combat I will love it but I will have to give it a solid play through before I can weigh in on the whole GOTY thing

ahhh i forgot red dead and mass effect 2 came out this year.. oh well.. better chances anyways

im always looking forward to GOTY personally hhate. and some games just dont deserve it (reach).

and obsidion and bethesda together are to blame. but. gah. im so angry right now over that game..

I'm playing Fallout new Vegas right now. It is complete ****, it is the same damn game as Fallout 3 but all they did is go into there fancy game editor and slapped Vegas in the middle of it. Not to mention the also added some new monster. One of which was in the Fallout 3 but they gave it invisible powers. This game is ****.

I love Fallout: New Vegas, but... it's so close to unplayable because of all of the quest glitches that I'm putting it away until they decide to do some major patch work. Luckily Fable 3 is so close it doesn't hurt so bad. Yeah New Vegas has absolutely no chance at game of the year.

lol obsidian made it bethesda only has the rights they payed obsidian to make it you cant blame bethesda no1 from that company helped they only said you can use our template and name story type etc because they own it so all those glitches and instabilities (dogs coming out of the ground with mole rats) you can only blame obsidian, bethesda will probably go on a media blitz soon about obsidians mess up lol
mass effect 2 vs fable 3 will be tough haha reach can suck it and red dead is GTA 1800's

edit: forgot its because bethesda is working on other projects thats why vegas was born to hold fans over til F4 obsidians motto "lets get a great series from somone else and f*** it up"

i cant ignore how the quests were super easy cause everyone killed everything for you. you leveled up insanily easy. the main quest was roughly 4-5 hours long. it was very confusing. everything new didnt change anything. same graphics. same game. new place. same stuff. different lighting same feel. falling through the world. getting trapped in rocks. super freezes. bad autosaves. vats sucks. the new barrel sights are awful. you start the game with traits that make you handicapped.... i could keep going on

oh. and the ending. wow.

edit. just tried to glitch the ending so i could keep playing (they have it that all gamers love paying for expansions) and while watching the credits. under quality assurance, their are three testers

Not to sound like a complete ass, you beat fallout:NV in 5 hours? That had to be main quest only. I mean fallout in general is not supposed to be power "main quested" It's meant for you to explore, grind alittle, craft, whateves.

This is the problem with the average player and fable. They cookie crumb through the main quest and do optional stuff later and to them it's a short game. This game is marketing to the none fable fan and it's going to be flamed by all because of it. People are going to waltz through the game unlock 4 chests and say " this game has not features" that is why it probably won't win.

im not an average gamer. its just what i like to do. i prefer to do the main quest, then go back cuz i get all excited about the story

Are you kidding? What matters if it sucks, any prize or prestige or anything will always go to Halo. It sucks, but yeah.

Also, Fable wouldn't need its competitors to not reach their full potential to win, Fable will always be the best franchise. Seriously, I am not just saying that for the fanboy-ism of it all, but it has the greatest, most indulging story that you can even change quite a bit--even more with later titles--it has great graphics and the games are in fact pretty darn big, and full of exciting lore. But you knew that already, didn't you?
