Well now, I have been hooked on getting F3 for SO long now, that Lost sense of other games.

I have also been looking forward to Gears 3, and AC Brotherhood.

Well, after viewing an Ad before watching a Fable III Video (which I tend to watch over and over again), itseems Brotherhood grabbed me by the throat, and made me jizz in my pants. This game looks AWESOME. And the best part is... NO MAGIC! Woohoo! Damn this game looks so ****ing badass!

But I have to know, would it be best for Fable 3, or AC Brotherhood?

Morphing Weapons VS Purchasable Weapons?
Combat of Fable VS Awesomeness of AC Combat?
Fable Story VS AC Story?
FEATURES VS Features?

A few napkins later and a new pair of underwear and pants, I think I might get AC Brotherhood.

From what i have heard i would definaly pick Ac over fable 3, cuz i mean u get to recruit other assassiins, rome is your whole base, other assassins can go aroud with you, you can send them on missoin, they can all get stronger, like level up and gdet metter stuff, and the best thing is not set, so there is no certain people u have to recruit if u recruit anything, pick whoever, and they could die in battle or on there missions, etc, u get the point

Don't compare the two. They are two totally different games.

Also AC: Brotherhood will be damn good.

Agree with Trevor, you cant really compare the 2 directly as they are different style and genre but Brotherhood does look superb and i for one shall be getting it too.

Assassin's Creed 2 was much more enjoyable than Fable II in my opinion, and considering both FIII and AC:B are essentially updated versions of their respective predecessors, it makes sense that AC:B would be more entertaining.

That being said, I'm sure I'll immensely enjoy both of them.

I really don't get how you can do that. Either you're not playing it right or you're playing way too much.

Dude the game isnt rocket science, its easy, plain and simple, its not intense at all.

I wouldnt dare compare, but i was just stating it will indeed be better, as in with the certain style of gameplay.

Yes, I realize that. I just could never play the same game 3 times through within a week of its release. 'Tis beyond my comprehension I suppose.

I would be with u on that, if it was like a long game, its just not really a challenge, its short, and kno i didnt blaze threw it, its nothing special

I've racked up 30 or so hours, and I only just beat the plot.

Your making it sound like a huge game, its took me a couple hours to beat it, a few hours the first day and a little the next, you yourself kno its not a big game.

Your VS arguments don't make a lot of sense... For one, Fable III has purchasable weapons as well, only they can be morphed. And the story of the games are nothing alike, they're not comparable! And hey, this is a Fable-dedicated forum--what game do you think we're going to promote the most? (Although I would say, get both. I will.)

Fable has a huge lore and a great series of epic stories through time (in other words, it cannot be labeled as fantasy and nothing else) filled with great comedy, great tragedy, and a lot of lovable randomness. Like chickens.

Assassin's Creed is the story of one man (and his ancestors). It doesn't feature a lot of comedy nor is its world as developed and vast as Albion and Aurora and the Void and what else have you from the Fable universe, but it's exciting, mysterious, and plain epic (yes, both games are in essence very epic).

Like I said before, I urge you to get both games, but if you can only choose one it would really depend on your tastes. Personally I would choose Fable III at all times, but if you want conspiracies and mindfuck :steve: I think you should go with Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. :p

I disagree, I think the Assassin's Creed universe is as, if not more, developed than the Fable universe, given that it's supposed to be our own.

Not that it's really possible (or fair) to compare the two games, in my opinion Fable III will still be my favorite game by the end of the year.
Now, I don't have anything against Assassins Creed Brotherhood, because I will definitely be getting that game shortly after it comes out. Although, mostly for the multiplayer. (I'm not too excited for the single player, then again, I never really am when it comes to AC games.
I adored Assassins Creed II, unlike the first one which i shelved after only playing it half way through, and I'm sure I'll enjoy Brotherhood just as much. But I've always liked the Fable series much more than the AC series.
