PC Version

I'll be the one to say it, whats happening with this? Haven't seen any news on it since 3's release.

Well, not really any official stuff and I'm only doing this from memory, but I think I noticed places like Amazon and whatnot setting the release date for around March 2011. Not official though, and I think that is what I saw.

Lionhead said the other day that they cant announce anything yet but they will have news soon, they stated that 'They havent forgotten the PC crowd'.

Actually, I don't want to sound mean or anything, but I'm kinda glad its
not out for PC yet. Only because I know their going to MOD the hell out
of it. And we are still going to get stuck here, with nothing new but things
that are equivalent of stupid DLC such as ugly hairstyles.

I place a bet that around the time it comes out for PC, there will be a MOD
that has flying dragons and stuff. =\

The modders do a good job of adding things people want to see into the games and content that Lionhead didnt. I saw some great mods in the past and JohnDoe, Keshire, Oldboy, Marcopolo & Morerunes amongst many others here put a lot of work into creating them. Wish i still had a decent enough PC to run todays games and had the space to fit a PC.

I didn't mean it as in 'i dont want to have it in the mods', but as in I would be jealous that
the 360 console is stuck with lame excuses for extensions when the PC modders are making the
PC version so many times better. I don't think I can get clearer than that. Theres also a hint of
sarcasm I would like to add in the first post too, in case you missed it. =p

Oh i see what you mean, i read it the wrong way my mistake. If i had the room for a PC anywhere i would make a new one because i miss Mods and the poor DLC we get and have to pay for on consoles is shocking.

No its okay, we all mess up on reading sometimes. And yeah, their going to have it all. I won't mind too much when I build my new computer end of this month. =s

Ive got a custom PC i built years ago that could still run most things but id like to build a brand new one. However persuading the girlfriend to find a space in the house for one might be challenging as i now have a 360 taking up 2 rooms of the house though i gave her my old one.

My room ain't the biggest place in the world, but it has a computer with my 360 hooked up to it,
and were getting a big screen mounted on our wall 55"+.
Why not just put your 360 and Computer in the same place? =s
My fiance is doesn't really care about the big screen, all she says is ''you just want to play your 360 on it..."

ugh, still gotta get carpeting done too for our home. Jeez.. that's gunna take awhile.

Are there already flying creatures in F3? If not then it's going to be a bitch to implement. Not to mention making the assets...

Maybe I'll release a bandito mod?

Also hyperbole doesn't work when plenty of people are perfectly serious:

Microsoft, well, I can't speak for them though I think they added the purpose
of not being able to mod so people can't cheat/abuse what should be earned in-game.
It's a give and take I suppose, I rather not have mods than to have someone shooting
100 bullets in 5 seconds in Black Ops.

I used to live in a cupboard/closet sized room and fit a PC, 360, Xbox and PS2 in there but i moved out and since then ive only setup my 360 and TV. I got one 360 in bedroom and the other in living room with Kinect on it as it keeps her little boy entertained and she plays some games on it and uses Kinect for fitness. She wants a computer desk to put a printer and such on for her business but im biding my time to suggest putting a PC on there instead of her laptop.

Yeah, honestly, being a guy we could probably cram so many things in one room.
My fiance also likes the entire fitness thing, I was thinking of getting a kintect
and putting it in the basement in the future workout room for her to have a little
fun. Just waiting for the right price..

There's a pc version running / playable at Microsoft's CES Booth. No word still on release date. Joystiq posts about it.

So it's just Fable 3 on PC? I had the impression the PC version was going to be like a different game or a F3 TLC or something. Guess there's not enough info to say, but from that image it just seems like a F3 PC version. If the game doesn't have modding either, then I doubt I'll bother with it
