GTA V Review Roundup

I just completed it a couple of hours ago. All I have to say is that Trevor is my new hero.

Im only on about 52% so far but shall be putting some hours in later this week.

Yeah im hardly through the game, Ill do a mission, then just go off on a rampage.. or two.. or hundred.
Never knew a game could get 10/10, Im sure ill be able to find something wrong with it, that I dont like.. Hmm such as; Character controls/walking, can very frustrating! Simple tasks to move somewhere in a tight spot/high area may end up falling off a building or something silly.. We havent had online yet, so that could change too.

Ive found pretty much everything to be an improvement from GTA IV so im happy with that, the game its is a technical masterpiece. I have no idea how Rockstar got all the systems in the game working in unison on old technology and running so well. The online is currently having some issues (which was expected) when it was the biggest launch of all time and so many tried to access it the minute it went online the servers went into meltdown. Though Rockstar did warn players this would happen, as there was no way to prepare for the demand they got. I shall give it a couple of weeks before I properly get into the online for them to iron out issues. A patch was released yesterday to fix some of the single player issues also (such as the disappearing cars from garages).

So hes saying he wants it to be more shocking and he feels like a bully but its too realistic and its not a world that feels as silly or impermanent as previous games? Then comparing games to multi award winning TV shows and moaning about the script writing. I agree most games scripts are pretty lacklustre and most treat you like an idiot but the voice acting and presentation in GTA V is the closest I have felt to playing out a movie for some time (without it feeling like an interactive movie only) though yeah the script for the most part wont win any groundbreaking awards.

Nobody ever even really stops me. Neither GTA IV or GTA V have ever given me, personally, a Wanted Star for stealing a car. I throw some poor guy into the street and I take the car. Some poor lady. I always like to know what they were listening to on the radio when I drive off, unpunished.

People normally call the cops on me when I steal cars and you actually hear the phone call they make if your in earshot of them still. Plus the police AI is the best its ever been and there are already some great car chase sequences on youtube posted by people. Its not perfect by any means but to call it 'sad' is a little harsh though the characters are for the most part assholes but cant expect a group of thieves/murderers and bank robbers to be nice people. :lol:
