What platforms do you game on?

Just curious as to which platforms people game on here at the moment to gauge interest of news on particular platforms and games/franchises. Personally I game on PC, XB1 and PS4 at the moment and tend to alternate between them all depending on game/franchise, though I do have handful of games on my iPhone/iPad too.

I do own a NES Mini and a Mega Drive Classic too though havent made much use of them since we bought them just yet as havent had the time.

PC mostly.

I have quite a few older consoles around but haven’t used them in a while so wouldn’t say they are active platforms for me currently.

What games are you playing at min?

Just PC. Been playing XCOM 2: War of The Chosen for now and nothing else. These days I usually just find one game and then spend some time with it before going on a hiatus/pause to find another worthy game. Though I need an upgrade, it'll have to wait another year.

Well I have been busy with driving school. My company is paying for me to get a license to drive literally anything. Class 1.

But my day off rn and I just started a new fable 2 file.

I also play Gmod a lot, l4d2, Fallout New Vegas, Fallout 3, Oblivion, Fable Anniversary, Lotro, and Star Wars Movie Duels on Jedi Academy

for the gamecube ssbm, wind waker, zelda collectors edition, the sims, and legacy of kain blood omen 2.

For Xbox original- Scarface the world is yours, godfather the game, Time Splitters...

Super Nintendo I have DK Country, Link to the past, Super Mario and The Super Star wars series and some other **** I cant remember.

360 I play Batman Arkham Origins and Arkham City, fable 2 and eventually Ill try fable 3 but it means rebuying all my dlc since I cant access my old gamer profile even with microsofts help..

Also means I have to try to obtain the fully upgraded swinging sword and Dragonstomper .48

Primarily the Xbox One and the 3DS for me, but I also go back to the 360 sometimes. And very occasionally I'll go back to some of the old games on my PC like Jedi Academy and Battlefront 2 (the real Battlefront 2). Recently though, I've mostly just been playing my 3DS. I play a **** ton of Pokemon, and a few times a year I do some traveling to compete in the Pokemon tournament circuit.

Havent played any XCOM games but I do own the original (was part of a free game giveaway), always heard good things.

Nice to see people still playing old school games and I used to love Pokemon on handhelds, regretted selling my Gameboy Colour many years.

New games suck. There are only a handful of titles that are actually good and so far I have only seen them on Sony.

God of war seemed to really impress me.

I stick with old classics because they were and still are amazing.

The next fable I have a pit in my stomach that tells me the pricks over at microsoft are going to keep it xbox exclusive and it will require me to buy an xbox just to play.

The only one off is that since fable 3 ****ed off everyone's expectations ( since a followup to a masterpiece like fable 2 should fall nothing short of another masterpiece) and the series tanked with the journey and heroes and legends,

that they might need to re establish faith in the series and make it xbox and pc. Since two of the games were pc already its not asking much. And most would buy both copies anyway and those that dont have an xbox still buy it.

But I just know they are going to sink their feet in the sand and insist on it being xbox exclusive since it doesnt seem to have much going for it.

Quality exclusives are lacking on Xbox granted but I actually use my Xbox more than my PS4 at the moment & haven’t been short of things to play. Overall there arent that many exclusive franchises on any of the consoles that interest me massively these days. I dont have a lot of time or money to play a large amount of games as I used too with 2 small children so I have missed some games I liked look of admittedly. Also I didnt own a PS3 so I carried over my backwards compatible titles to my XB1 and my already established profile/saves and games from Xbox and Xbox 360.

I only actually have 2 games for my PS4 at the moment (Uncharted Collection and Last of Us) though I did buy it for the great amount of quality single player exclusives and will get God of War soon. I tend to play lots of multiformat games and I use my XB1 for those mainly as I dont have online on my PS4 either & prefer XB1 controller & I’m more familiar with dashboard etc. Not to mention it’s a little easier to play games between Xbox and PC versions and share saves etc and stream from one to the other.

Microsoft own the Fable IP so it will likely be Xbox and PC as they have said that most exclusives will be on both platforms now as well as being cross play and play anywhere titles (meaning only have to buy one copy and have both PC and XB1 versions). With it being a Microsoft owned title there is also a possibility it will come to Xbox game pass too which will mean more players have a chance to play it. They do definitely need to up their game with exclusives but I wouldnt mind them all being on PC too as play anywhere & cross play titles. More choice on what to play on is always a good thing and Microsoft are actively looking at getting a Netflix style app for TV's approved so you could have Game Pass and play anywhere you have a screen without the need for a PC or console.

My next purchases will likely be God of War on PS4 and State of Decay 2 on Xbox/PC as its a play anywhere title although I heard its going to be on Game Pass.
