i'm in the middle of it right now....i don't know. it's far from their best so far and only 2 tracks to go =/

Listened a while ago. It's not bad.

I wouldn't fret, just let it grow on you. I've had this with a lot of albums before, they grow with time.

there is truth to that. i'd be lying if i said i liked any radiohead album through and through, or the band themself on the first listen.

They're a 'several listen' band, which are the best bands imo. All of my favourite bands are that way.

absolutely. but the downside to that kind of music is that everyone else gets alienated because all they see are a bunch of people raving about music that they don't understand. i'm starting a second listen btw....and you were right, it is growing on me little by little.

I think watching everyone slowly come to the conclusion as you can be a very rewarding experience, or coming to the same conclusion as others. It makes it more of a journey.

mostly i just find myself getting fed up with the unwillingness to try out a new sound. most people in these parts like dad rock, rap, and country. i tend to just let sleeping dogs lie because most of them would need to be forced into anything strange or experimental beyond the first few tracks.
but in the right company, sure. i've always greatly enjoyed turning people onto new things they enjoy.
