I'm American, natively New York but residing in Texas atm. Watch out for the others around here, I think they've gotten crazy during the years you were away.
"crazy" -- LMAO
I get along with crazy people just fine.
Texas huh? That's my favorite US state. It's a big state with everything from desert to sub-tropical climate. I like it dry more, I wouldn't want to live in a desert but I'd like to see one now and then.
Good to hear. I was afraid you might be scared off.
Haven't seen a desert yet myself, not the sandy kind anyway. I also haven't seen any horses, cowboys, gigantic hats or catcuses. I'll be honest, I'm pretty disappointed.
There is a noticeable accent and different fashion sense, but it's mild. People here will say "y'all,"have weird sayings like "hold your horses," but it isn't the "draw, pilgrim" I had hoped for. There's a thing about parking on grass instead of driveways, I can't figure that out. Other than that it's pretty much the same.
Oh. More women wear dresses, which you think would be classy, but most look like they just wrapped a shower curtain around themselves with a belt, but I think that's a Scottish influence.
