A noob needs help!!

Hey I'm a noob at modeling and i can't play Fable-TLC on my pc so i mod on my friends

I was wondering how to import custom meshes into fable explorer (I use 3D Studio Max 9)
I have an idea for a new weapon but I won't start on it before I know how to import it...

HELP!!!

There are links to importers and exporters for various 3d apps here.

You need the directX [.x] stuff.
