I know most of you heard about the Twilight series. And The entire Fanbase around it. What's funny to me is Twilight just comes out of nowhere and it creates the bigest fanbase I have seen.

What annoys me is the Twilight fangirls. If you go to school there's a high chance that there is a twilight fangirl or a group of them. I'm not saying being a fan is bad. But alout of the fangirls go way to far...

Girls attacking other people and actually getting into psychical fights over a fantasy book... Just because someone has a different opinion about the book/series. Honestly the series caused friends to get into a fist fight and I've even seen couples break up over this.

Fangirls need to calm down... It's a fantasy book, It's not real and it will never be real. I hate the books that's my opinion just boring vampires who glitter in the sun and have sex in every chapter isn't appealing to me..

Also Lol to the Twilight fangirl who said that the character "Jacob" would kill me.. Umm Reality check.. He isn't real.

It's growing by the second, even my mom reads it. She goes on about how great it is. But tbh I havn't met a obsessed twilight fan boy yet.

I read Twilight, it wasn't bad as a book... Then I re-read it, saw her grammar, and went nitpicking about her characters then hated it... I HATE THE FANBASE its a bunch of little girls (and a few men *stares at Tyloric* lol) who chase Volvo's yelling "Edwort! marry me!!" Yes I said wort instead of ward

I managed to get about half way through the first one befor I lost interest. I couldnt help but notice that the main character has no personality and seems sort of helpless. It got really old fast. overall I would say its an ok book, definetly for girls. also the author seems to think she can just re-wright the rules of vampirism, which I found really annoying.

one quick warning, dont ever get between a twilight fangirl and a silver/gray volvo. you will be trampled to death if you dont get out of the way fast enough.

again, overall I would say its an ok book, nothing special. I really dont get all the fuss about it.

My wife read all 4 books in 2 weeks, my brothers GF reads them, my best mates GF reads them etc...
I've read the first book and took my wife to see the movie (coz I don't do roses) as some kind of xmas pres/romantic gesture. It was an OK book, but the m0vie was rushed from scene to scene, bit's were changed and added ladidadida blah blah blah...

the only way I would ever see that movie would be with a girl. the book is ok I guess. much more appealing to women than it is to men. I still dont get all the fuss about it.

oh yeah, the cover art for all for books is what I would describe as "emo-tastic", having absolutly nothing to do with the story itself.

Twilight is for pussies, man. Try the Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton. There's soem REAL vampire books.

What bothers me is all the fangirls saying this is the new "generation" of vampires. I mean like wtf. They glitter in the sun and there only weakness is fire in twilight, I don't find that interesting. Most of the book seems like some romantic novel or something.
