I've seen these, to be honest I love Sacha Baron Cohen.
Though I think at points he pushed Bruno too far, not in the "It's no funny" sense, but in the sense someone could have killed him, namely in the Muslim bit.
Still, he's very creative and demented, and I'll be going to see it.

I watched Borat for the first time yesterday and will watch Bruno soon. Sacha Baron Cohens characters are crazy and the man has balls of steel to do the things he does. He portrays these fictional characters really well and makes them quite believable. The movies are so cringe worthy but they do have some message behind them as silly as they are.

The first 'Borat' points out the racial differences and such that can effect certain countries and how stereotyped people can be by others. I havent seen Bruno yet but according to reviews it shows how the 'Hollywood' styled drive to be famous is in certain parts of the western world. Also how far people will go to be famous. One review said that 'Wastes of space like Paris Hilton should watch Bruno and realise that the character Sacha plays is a parody of the way they seek fame'.

I saw Bruno yesterday, it was great. Really fed my contempt towards most Americans though. What kind of a mother offers to have her baby liposuction'd to get on TV?

To be quite honest, the borat film only made me laugh 2-3 times tops, i didn't really find it funny.
Ali G on the other hand, i find him hysterical, that second interview you posted with Posh and Becks make me almost cry with laughter.
And the Ali G movie had a storyline to cling to so it wasn't too boring to watch.

As for Brüno, I watched the last video you posted, it kind of made me laugh. Hopefully it'll be an improvement on the film.

They are stupid only if you're not smart enough to get the underlying message of satire. You can take Borat as a "stupid" comedy movie if you like, or you can take it for the hilariously clever social commentary it is.

I've not yet seen Brüno, but I plan on it.

It really wasn't that great of a movie, much less funny then Borat.
The black baby part wasn't bad, or the trying to not be gay, some bleached hair, tanned, fake breasted women whipping him with a belt to take off his underwear, ha.
