Cheat codes in Fable III?

Not very many games have cheat codes anymore for some reason, it would be awesome if Fable III had cheat codes. Like to get a Call of Duty tank or become like a demon that can fly.

The game you are looking for is Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, San Andreas or IV.

Ewww. No Cheat Codes don't fit in fable. It wouldnt work, its not that kind of game. A different game would work better.

Cheats = extreme fail for any game. Fable, especially.

I'd be very disappointed if it happened.

To me, cheat codes are only useful if you're using something like god mode to test out a mod you've made or downloaded, and since Fable 3 won't be on PC, it can't be modded, so cheat codes for it would suck.

Why do you need cheats for Fable anyway? That'd be like walking with 2 pairs of socks on. Whats the actual point?

Yeah. The game is so epically easy it hurts. Needing cheats would mean that you should just stop playing the game.

But cheats do fit in with games like GTA. I'll sometimes just use them for fun. Like flying a helicopter and then spawning cars and watching them whip off of the main rotor blade until it breaks. Then watch yourself fall and then either see if you survive impact, or do the health cheat and try to regain control at a low altitude.

I meant for Fable II. My bad. But I doubt Fable III will be any harder. The game has earned a reputation for its unmatched easy difficulty.

You wouldn't have to use the cheat codes though. It would be for fun. Now if the game was as easy as Fable 2, then I could see not having cheat codes because there would be no point but Fable III will have better game play so why not?

I wouldn't have a problem with it if they were cheat codes that are unlocked after you beat the game once, and if they made the game more enjoyable, nothing simple like: Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A.. to get infinite health.

I like how Insomniac & Naughty do their "unlock cheats" thing, with the Ratchet & Clank and Uncharted games that add some replay-ability.

Isn't that the Konami code?

And I guess some cheats would fit in as Jokes. Like make chickens explode or Hear the old Guildmaster and his "hero your health is low"
But nothing like infinite health or extra cash. It would spoil the game.

I wouldn't mind as long as you couldn't use them in multiplayer or to gain acheivments.

But on the topic, No. Fable just isn't the type of game that would go good with cheatcodes.

I'd prefer cool Easter Eggs, like seeing Jack of Blades selling condoms in a hidden part of Bowerstone Market or something.
