Some time in 2010, they havent set an actual exact date yet.

Yeah was meant to be this year but it got delayed. Its out in Japan this year but not rest of the world.

In this case they decided to bring over to the 360 as well.

I'd rather they delay a game than release it before it's ready. Hellgate: London, anyone?

FFVII would be the only game i'd bother buying a PS3 for, and if it doesn't happen, oh well, I save a few hundred bucks. I still have the Original PS game as well as FFIX. I had FFVIII, but i was terrible and i hocked it in

I heard about this alot, and I found this on wiki

It has been speculated that the Compilation will also include an enhanced remake of the original Final Fantasy VII for the PlayStation 3. This speculation was sparked at the 2005 E3 by the release of a tech demo featuring the opening sequence of Final Fantasy VII recreated using PlayStation 3's graphical capabilities. However, Square Enix president Yōichi Wada has explained that the presentation was intended only for technological demonstration purposes, and an official statement from the company said that they had not announced such a project. Although in the credits of both Advent children and Crisis Core there is reference to the Final Fantasy VII PS3 testing team.

now they could just be saying there not making it to throw people off the trail, but I don't know..2005 was when they said it was being done. :wacko:

Either they're making it perfect or they dropped it .

Or it was just meant as a way to get people to buy a PS3 and used as a clever marketing ploy. =]
