having trouble with some of the basics

I'm having problems doing expressions for the demon door in brightwall, and is the pawn broker the only place to sell things?

You have to drag someone there, and use the expression with them. and yes I do believe that the Pawn Broker is the only place to sell things.

Can you use a co-op buddy for the expression?

How do you change expressions? When I interact with anyone, I am only given one choice and it's not always the one I would like to perform.

I don't think that there is a way to choose the expression, just simply to choose to use a negative or positive one, and yes you can use a co-op buddy...
