Help! I am turning blue!!

Can anyone tell me why my character is getting these bright blue vein like lines on his face and neck? I haven't stripped him down so don't know if its all over or not.

I have 0 scars and no tattooes on the face. I have only ever slept with my new wife and we have had protected sex so far so I can't have contracted something nasty. Is it maybe something I drank?

its your will, the stronger it gets the more the show

Yeah, the more you use your spells the more will lines.

Willy Wonka reference in the title? Here's what I did.

Buy a level 1 ability of any spell to have in slot 1.
Buy up to level 2 in any spell to have in slot 2.

Do that all the way to level 5 instead of buying level 5 everything, then the will lines aren't as easily seen.

the more *'s you have the stronger your spells get, this is best seen in the blades spell if you have a 1* sword spell in slot 1 you will shoot 3 rusty swords, but if you have it maxed you will shoot out 3 master long swords

i get a kick out of every time i see a thread like this: "omg i have blue lines wtf is gong on plz halp!" i feel like saying: "dont worry son... youre becoming a man now, these things happen"

out of interest, does anyone know how to get rid of the blue markings? is there a way? I got rid of all my spells but still look like an 80's neon shop display.

unfortunetly, your game is bugged. it will work fine, but all your characters will eventually start to glow with blue lines all over. it has something to do with the lightning texture somehow bugging into the heros skin texture. if you erase all your saves and get a newer disc it shouldnt happen again.

the only way to get rid of it is to ditch all your spells. do this in the level up screen.

or invest in a mask. but that would look even worse.

I can't do that. I am all about magic and ranged attacks. I hate close combat melee. I keep rolling/time teleporting away. I only use melee if I absolutely have to. Lore is a cautious cat!

(Lore is cowardly in fights cos he is a n00b still)

Well, if you want to keep your spells your just gonna have to deal with the blue lines. There is no other way. they will eventually stop intensifying though, if the lines are very bright they are probably done growing.

What really annoys me is that blue is a "good colour". I wish your Will lines would become a nice "evil" colour such as red if you're an evil Will user.

or yellow if neutral

i just remove all my spells, then sleep or change regions (changing regions works the best) and the lines go away

I guess I'll put up with the blue lines. I might just dye my clothes to match lol!

I love magic in these kinda games. I have street fighter for close combat.
