Location and Year of Fable 3?

I think the location should stay the same as Fable 2 with all those Cities, Towns and Villages.

What year do you think Fable 3 will be in as Fable 2 was 100 years after Fable so i think it would be 300-500 Years in the Future.

They already said that it will be 50 years after Fable II. And you will be the child of the Fable II hero.

So do I. It's possible we might get to go to more other places-- Samarkand or something-- but Albion will still be the main, major arena for our questing and hobbe-pounding.

How unimaginative;
the game being set in the same century will mean that nothing will have changed or progressed...

I think the game era should be back in the times of the Old Kingdom...
A much more fresh approach - who agrees?! :D

^A lot can happen in 50 years. Does a little something called the Industrial Revolution ring any bells?

More Like Hobbe Loving. Personally, there could no tjust be another country but another dimension. I think this dimension (aurora) could be optional to visit, and when you enter it you use natal to move around.

Otherwise the Aurora is a tool to go in the future and the past

But i deffinetely think Samarkand (which will be split up) & the location of the Fighting Monks will deffinetely be introduced.

Towns returning are Knothole Island (possibly with no life on it), Rookridge (Possibly the pub has caused more settlement around the area), Bloodstone (could get the cut otherwise farely similar to before, except maybe less pirates and more highwaymen), Brightwood (could get the cut or is going to have more population. In the puppet game the boy visits Brightwood which is a town, so i think it is likely after or before Fable 2 Brightwood was a town) and Westcliff will die out.

Depending on how well the game can read your saves, the possibilities are endless. What if you saved Westcliff and Brightwood?

1950... the Year 2000.

No.. Nothing changed there. (!) Though, we are behind on where we think we'd be. We're just lucky there hasn't been a WW3 yet...

Or we'd be like that.

But if you look back at earlier centuries than the 20th, things didn't really move forward as much as they have recently.

The point I was trying to make is that although there may be some differences, they wouldn't be as drastic and diverse as the transition of Fable to Fable II.

^If you want the changes from Fable 2 to Fable 3 to be as dramatic as the transition of TLC to Fable 2, it would have to go so far into the future that it wouldn't even be Fable anymore. You'd start seeing machine guns and tanks. Strength and Will would be obsolete. Skill would be the only Hero discipline left, and who wants that?

The Industrial Revolution was a time of rapid development of industry, technology, and cities in the 18th and 19th centuries. Lionhead has explicitly said that Albion is going to be a bit Industrial Revolution-ish in F3.

I think you're going to have all the change you could possibly want. Yes, less than the jump from crossbows to pistols, but substantial-- blacksmiths to factories, stagecoaches to steam engines (yes, I know there were little mine cart-steam engines in 2. Those don't count.)
