Mass Effect is like the best game ever, so far It's my favorite but i'm waiting for mass effect 2 rumored to take your character and choices out of the first game in order to shape the next.

Only a rumour and not a promise yet so have to wait and see.

Re: Mass Effect

Still if it did work out like that it would be the first game ever to produce that kind of expirience... but if that happened we might have to call the F.E.A.R.

To the guy above me yeah.

Re: Mass Effect

Hm, besides the sex scenes, can someone tell me what's so great about this game? Been thinking of getting it, but is it fast paced, lots of action?

The dialog, voice acting, character customisation and branching story is superb.

Just don't play it through three times on the trot or you'll be sick of it ;)

Yeah always best to leave it a while before playing through it again.

Hm, I'm sure with Mass Effect, The Force Un., and Fable 2 I won't get bored. Mix them up. Along with Halo, I'll do just fine.:)
Been checking a M.E. forum looks really fantastic. Kinda reminds me of Knights. I loved all those.

Should register over at ours and take a look around, avoid the spoiler threads though obviously.

Re: Mass Effect

Get the book too, it's a good prologue to playing the game.

Re: Mass Effect

the book is brilliant...people ought to read it before the game, IMO. Just ignore the fact that Anderson is meant to have rather dark skin, as opposed to the lighter version you see ingame - and his accent is meant to be more British (born in London) with tints of other accents intertwined...

But I'm a nitpicker like that - it's a good book and sets the scene rather nicely for when you start playing...

Re: Mass Effect

Saren and Anderson sure becomes deeper characters in the game if you've read the book.

Re: Mass Effect

Can it be played right, off line? Been reading and watching a lot, but couldn't figure it out. Also do I have to keep the people with me alive?

It's an offline game. And no, you don't need to keep your party members alive, although teamwork does help (until Shepard is leveled up enough where help isn't needed). When the battle is over, or when things start to die down during battles.. your allies will eventually be automatically revived.

Thanks for the reply. That was my last worry. Well good, as soon as I go next, that's my next game.:) It really looks great. +rep to you.

I played this game mass effect. It has powerful storyline. Dialogue options of this game keep you constantly engaged in your missions. It has great visuals and superb voice acting. I liked this game very much.
