Hello, all. Don't mind me, I'm just gonna advertise myself. I'm trying to get some more views on my youtube channel, and figured I'd post it up in here.

It's a music channel with mostly electronic/rave/hardstyle, but a lot of it is also ambient/chill stuff. Dial-up users should give up now, as most of the tracks are way over 4 minutes. [my longest goes to 14 minutes...]

Youtube is a terrible place to try to break in music. Terrible. Newgrounds.com is better suited to posting music.

People do not (usually) go to be YouTube to listen to music. It's a video website. Where as Newgrounds has sections for both animation and music. You want people to listen to what you've made? Newgrounds is your best bet.

So? I write for a hobby and I try to get as many people to read what I write, other wise I wouldn't post anything at all.

Lol I write too. But I make music not to go HEY LOOK WHAT I CAN DO but because it's fun, and I enjoy it. Uploading it to youtube and sharing it with people that might like it is just a bonus.

I don't see why showing off and doing something should be mutually exclusive things.

Besides, you were trying to give advice about something I never even asked about. I just wanted to have some people here check out my channel. ..

Thanks! It's one of my favorites. There's a second remix to Kira's laugh but it's not as good in my opinion, it just went in a different direction.

But you don't do it to show off, you don't care if people view it, but you want to advertise it anyway, because you don't care... But you do care.

Advice doesn't have to be asked for, a true pal will give you advice even when you say you don't want any. He was just trying to help. You on the other hand wet yourself over a misplaced word and blew off his advice even though it was completely relevant and helpful and exactly what you imply to want: Views.

Sure writing is fun, and there is the bonus of the upload, but I rarely upload anything unless it is a pornographic story.

The fact that you are advertising your stuff to us shows that you care what we think, and that you care about what you've done. There's no point in having a go at Tyloric and Firis and whoever else you have.
