I'm not sure where most of the books are, but here is a list of the books he will and will not take. I know because I spent hours getting one book at a time to see if he takes it or not. Also, from what I've been testing, you can "carry" up to 10-15 books at one time, so even if you grab every book, only 10-15 will show up for him to "take a look at and accept/deny." This is from my own testing of Fable: TLC for PC, I don't know how it works on XBOX.
Books he will NOT take:
The Book of Spells
A Hero's Journey I - IV
The Trigamist
The Hierarchy of Weapons
Please note: Each time I have had these in my collection, he rambles on and on about not wanting to take them. I've tried everything, even getting the last of the books he wants after the fact, but every time it is "The Book of Spells?" this and "The Hierarchy of Weapons?" that. So, as long as I didn't collect those above books, he took everything below.
Books he WILL take:
The Sock Method
Making Friends
Eyes of a Killer
The Ugly Guide
Windbreaker Rule Book
You are Not a Bad Person
The Repentant Alchemist
The Rotton Apple
The Oakvale Raid
The Trails of Aarkan
The Guild of Zeroes
The Balverine Slayer
The Tailor's Tragedy
The Arena
Creatures of Albion Book I - III
The Dragons
Jack of Blades
A Love Story
The Tale of Maxley
The Northern Wastes
The Old Kingdom
The Other Land
The Tale of Twinblade
The Pale Balverine
Now, you could spend hours hunting these books down or you could do a Hero Save Exploit to get that last key. But since you have 29 of them, this probably won't work for you, you may have to start all over for it to work.
What I do to get the key from the Teacher without talking to him is this...
I take the Wasp quest card, skip the part where I have to goto the Picnic area and go right to part of the path with the Thorn Bushes and grab that Key. I then Hero Save right there and simply Load that Hero Save. If done right, those bushes should be back and another silver key awaits you.
That method can be done for anything you can collect more then one of. Keys, Potions, etc... As long as you are in the middle of a Gold Quest you can Hero Save and then teleport away and choose to Reload. You should still have the Item you collected and you should still be able to collect that item again from the same spot.
I hope the list of books helps you, and if you can do the Hero Save Exploit, hope that works for you as well.
