Oh God No, They're Back.

Mosquitoes. I hate them. I mofudgin' hate them. But who doesn't? But now they have finally shown up. And they are driving me damn crazy! I have to keep my basement window open for the cats because they have this little cage outside they can just laze around in. But anyways, I have to keep it open, so all those damn ****ers get in here.

So share you hate for mosquitoes.

Re: Oh God No, They're Back.

omg i know how you feel.
One time i mowed the grass and i left my window open which is facing the back yard. Well... In the morning and cool nights they like to go near the due on the windows and what not.. I went to check in on my room and noticed i forgot my window was open for the whole day.. I was kinda tired and just shut the window and went to sleep... For about an hour. I then got woken up many times during the night and i noticed that there was alot of black moving things in the air.. I mean tons and flipping tons. I estimated i had about 200-400 mosquitoes in my room. I left the window open so maby they would leave which infact got rid of a bunch.. Then i got a bag zapper in the room and left it in there for like 2 days on the whole time
lol I hate them little *******s

1.) Purchase a scented candle.
2.) Purchase a hammer.
3.) Wait till a mosquito is attracted to the scented candle.
4.) :shifty:

The scented candlt thing really does work though, leave it in some obscure place and the majority of them should leave you alone.

Am I the only one on this planet who almost never gets mosquito bites? It would seem so.

I'm not really prone to them, but our family has to take drastic measures because if my Mum gets bitten she swells up like Jabba the Hutt.

At least I can take solice in that malaria is just about nonexistant in the cold north where I live. So while they are annoying, they're at least not potentially dangerous.

Re: Oh God No, They're Back.

I used to get bitten by them heaps when I was younger, but in the last several years I can't recall being bitten more than a few times.

And why don't you just not leave your window open?

'Cause then it'd be like trying to sleep in a sauna.

Re: Oh God No, They're Back.

So far I've only gotten a couple of bites but that's because they're not really out during the day and at night it gets colder so they only come after you if you step on the grass where they sleepz.

I was referring to Skotekal's post. But like HB said, you could just get a fan. Works wonders for me in the Australian summer (which get's pretty hot).

****ing softball. Every time I go to one of my sister's games or tournaments, I come home feeling like I just donated blood to half whatever state I'm currently in.

Everyone who is immediately plotting Necromancer's bloody demise, please raise your hand. [raises hand]

Seriously, put in a damn screen. It's not that hard, unless you have to let your cats out.

Come visit DC, *****, PLEASE. "Oh, you don't get mosquitoes in a city," my pasty white ass.

What, you mean the one about having to let the cats out through the window?

Why not just make the cat's stay inside. Do they not have to anyway?

Re: Oh God No, They're Back.

Gahdamn cats. Would you want them in YOUR house? Watching your every move with those beady little eyes, sharpening their claws, preparing for their eventual revolt and seizure of the world's governments.

When you're slaving away in their catnip mines, you'll regret letting them into your house.
