Possible Fable III UK Release Date and Game Cost

I was havin a look around and found this article so maybe this is the release date for Fable III

There has been a provisional UK release date for Fable 3 III of the 22nd of October 2010. We presume it will be released worldwide on the same date. There is no confirmation or information on the Lionhead Studio’s web site. We have noticed that several online game shops and suppliers are adding Fable 3 III available for pre-order for 22cd October 2010. The RRP is £49.99 but most online retailers are offering it for pre order at £40.00 approx. The lowest online retailer we have seen it for sale is with thehut.com for £37.73.

I really hope it is the world wide release even tho i'm in the uk. Thing is I have seen November 1st as a possible release date also but I think it looks like October 22nd is the real deal I really hope it's right !

I don't see whats so bad about it being released in britain first. Its not like its gonna ruin americas enconomy if its released in the UK first, you yanks will just have to wait a little longer.

Even though Fable 3 is a British game. Kinda wrong, really.

Fable II wasn't released on the same day in EU and the US - I remember making a big deal about that ^_^

Would be sweet if EU got it before US though.

US is always first, it's bull****.

Also, things don't usually get released in Japan first unless it's made for Nintendo consoles, like Pokemon games.

What's so bad? just because the game comes less than one week later isn't going to cause the apocalypse and the end of all worlds.
the only thing important here is the cost, which will be most likely over 60$ and £40
besides just be happy you're not in Sweden >.> which i am not, i'm in France.

sorry to disappoint everyone.

when game stores are getting ready to start taking preorders on a game with no release date...they fabricate one. amazon.com does the same thing. all that this means is that october 22nd is the earliest possible release date, as it's easier to correct a games release to later rather than earlier.

keep looking for an official date everyone

Turns out PM had no say in this, cause 81LL G4T3S has microsoft and really wanted to play Fable II before the brits and the rest of us :lol:

^ because while lionhead may create the game, it is distributed by microsoft.
microsoft is based in the US...you can figure out the rest

i was really happy when lionhead separated from microsoft... but i hate how they have to return to their former oppressive boss to get the games that their company depends on sold.
there's a word that comes to mind and it rhymes with monopoly...no...wait... it is monopoly.
