Question on Tradin'

If I do NOT have any DLC, but someone else does, can I trade items for them?

Like, I give you tons of gold, you give me an armor I need or something.

Cause I want Knothole Knight Armor, and I can pay anything I can.

I can TRY and retrieve something or whatever if you want it.

No can do, even if you did have the DLC - the knothole items cannot be traded.

I tried to give away all my DLC items but no luck

Could I purchase the Good Sun Cleaver thing from someone even though I destroyed the ToL?
