Snow Sports
Hiya
In a few weeks I'm going on a school trip to the snow.
Were going snowboarding and skiing for a week.
I can't wait I've never been skiing or snowboarding before.
What I'm wondering is if skiing or snowboarding is harder to get used to?
As i only have 5 days i want to get used to the slopes fairly quickly.
Another problem is that my friends are all die hard snowboarders and think skiing is well... not so great.
I can surf would that mean snowboarding might be easy to take up?
Or would i be better off going with skiing which is supposed to be easier and put up with the friendly yet consistent slagging for skiing?
