Spore Delay Down To "Misinformation"
Recently US mag Game Informer had reported that Will Wrights ambitious title Spore had been 'Heavily Delayed' and was now likely to be pushed back until 2009. However EA have said that the comments were not new information and that nothing had changed from what they had said back in May. When CEO John Riccitello said that they were moving Spore from fiscal 2008 to early fiscal 2009 people had jumped to conclusions anticipating a delay until 2009.
however EA's fiscal 2009 runs from April 2008 through March 2009 and they say that Spore could be ready to be released at anytime but they wont set a date yet.
