Super Fast XP

I haven't seen a topic for this yet, but I'll give you the easy strat for gaining a SxHxIxT load of XP early in the game and the Cutlass Butane.

Get Physical Shield and Slow Time up to level 2.

Collect and SAVE Ages of Might, Ages of Will, Ages of Skill potion. A couple of hours into the game you should have at least one of each.

Have 20-30 will potions.

Go to Hobbe Cave.

Use your Slow Time CONSTANTLY. Run to the back of the first section of the cave, without attacking the Hobbes, turn around, then slice and dice your way back out. Hot Key your will potion and keep charging up your Mana bar (slow time and Mana Shield will drain it quickly). When you get to 18-25 on your combat multiplier, chug all of your "Ages" potions using "up" on your D-Pad to acces the items menu, then potions. At 25 on the combat multiplier you will get 25,000 XP for each "ages" potion you quaff.

Leave the Hobbes and Troll outside the cave for last. If you leave the cave with a multiplier between 18-20, you will have multiplier around 12-14 after the load screen. Continue using slow time and charging up you mana and once you reach a multiplier of 14 talk to the Deamon Door for the Cutlass Hook-up.

Go to heros guild and hook yourself up with some stats!

My biggest Combat Multiplier is 53...anyone done better (53,000 XP when you drink an Ages potion...no I didn' do this at Hobbe Cave).

Thats odd, I managed to get over 150,000 strength EXP by using a will potion with a multiplier of only 21. A good place to get loads of EXP and well worth using the ages of might/skill/will potions is the graveyard path- the first time you go down it on a quest the undead constantly respawn so you have an infinite supply of enemies in one single area meaning you can get a super high multiplier and use your potions to gain a huge amount of EXP.

Even just going up and down the Hobbe cave, as you mentioned before, can get a decent bit of EXP even without the potions though so its also a very handy area.

Have a bit of rep though, you deserve it for your effort :D

150,000 XP? Impressive, repeat it and tell me how you did it. My post, I should have mentioned, is intended for those "newer" to the game, and the Hobbe cave is eaasily accessable from the beginning of the game. The Lichfield grave yard is where I managed to get a multiplier of 53, without really trying, and the Necropolis is another good area. However, by the time I got to Lichfield, I was already maxed out, and had no need to gain massive XP any more.

Guess that makes sense dude. The Hobbe is accessable from pretty much the beginning of the game nice work.

As far as I know I just hammered the crap out of a lot of enemies, ended with a multiplier of 21 and decided to use my might potions- I may have used two of them in a row which could account for the mass increase.

Interesting. I'll give it a shot next time through. I managed to get my physical stats maxed and get the Harbinger before the arena quest.

Yeah I did that my first couple of run throughs in the original Fable, nowadays though I leave maxing my stats and getting the Harbinger until I have completed the game, that way it gives me a little extra play, makes the end slightly more difficult and in a certain aspect increases the games longevity.

Im playing through at the minute trying to obtain every single weapon, all the rare items and all the clothes along with maxing out every single one of the will powers and the other stats as well.

Re: Super Fast XP

Another great way to earn great amounts of exp is too:

1. get a strong bow(either master or legendary class)
2. take all your "Ages" potions and hotkey them
3. go to darkwood lake and see if there is a rock troll there
4. if so get out of distance and pull out your bow
5. pull it back and keep it back for about 5 minutes
6. keep it held back and get near the troll
7. after you can hit it, shoot the arrow and you should get a multiplier of 65
8. use all the "Ages" potions you want and rack up the points

Re: Super Fast XP

I prefer the training method:

1. Meet Maze outfront of Oakvale Tavern after the Trader Escort quest.
2. Punch him all the way up the hill where the guards later appear to ask for the assassin quest. (No guards or villagers will care at all) Maze will not attack you, nor will he die of attacks.
3. Get your weapon out, and start shooting/striking maze over and over and over.
4. Repeat until your multiplier is 40+ this requires pacience, and you may want to mute the game to avoid annoyance from Maze saying "Get off boy!"
5. Use AGES potions, food, or use the Summon spell dozens of times. Each time used your points go up. Also good to use physical shield or beserk, to get your magic points higher.
6. Be careful not to press A cause once you talk to him he takes you to the cutscene at the beach, about twinblades camp.

Another way:
1.Find Rhodri (The guy near the Barrow fields demon door that likes fat people)
2. use multi-strike, and attack him with your melee weapon.
3. You're multiplier will go up as long as you use multi-strike spell everytime. He will not die, but his response to getting hit is very annoying so mute your TV.

Another way:
Force Push Exploit
1. Get force push
2. Get Physical shield to keep your multiplier from dropping from attacks
3. Have tons of will potions so you dont run out on magic.
4. (Recomended) Have your ages potions ready
5. Storm the guild of apprentices, servants, guards, and tourists, and remember that FORCE PUSH increases your points and multiplier EVEN WHEN USED ON DEAD PEOPLE!

Re: Super Fast XP

There are a few ways to get really high combat multipliers, the 3 best of which I know come sort of late in the game. At the arena, if you use physical shield, and don't take it off at all, yo ucan get yoru combat multiplier over 50, use some ages of___ pots. When you are going to bargate prison, undead spawn a lot on the wayto bargate, and if you work it right (physical shield of course) you can get over 60, again use some ages of ___ pots. The final one, make sure you save some will pots for this, like over 50, which is easily the best (after this you will have almost everything maxed out) is when you hunt down jack to the focus sites, jsut run through the first 3, then on the last one, just outside bowerstone, the only thing that gets summoned is minions, and they don't stop, you can get your combat multiplier to whatever you like, depending on how patient you are, by the time you get to 200 you should have maxed out your general experience, then with the multiplier that high, just repeated cast a spell (is went somewhere safe and did physical shield on and off) and you'll get loads of will exp in no time, plus you use the pots, and well... you'll get 999,999 general exp, over 500,000 str, over 500,000 skill, and well over 500,000 will, if you used your pots and did everything right. Good luck!
