the first hero should have been in fable 2

If theresa had managed to live this long than why not her brother. Since fable is about the sory of their family bloodline, theresa's brother should have been in fable 2, agree?

The hero of oakvale is too powerful to put in fable 2. Nuff said.

Theresa has an insanely powerful control over will. Much greater than Garth's, and likely rival's the Archon's. It is well known that if you have a strong enough grasp of will, you can make yourself live near indefinitely.

It is not known of the whereabouts of the Hero of Oakvale however in game there are many references to him. Serenity Farm is described as the house he spent his final years in. This does not mean he died. He could just be thought to be dead. until Lionhead confirm this and perhaps come up with a reason we may not know.

For know a safe bet would be to assume that the hero died of old age as he maybe did not have to skill with will that his older sister has or even he did not wish to live forever and allowed himself to die.

If he didnt die, I suspect he went into hiding after the destruction of the guild.

Somewhere around Serenity Farm behind the Demon Door in Oakfield it says the hero of Oakvale died there. BUT If you buy The Bloodstone Mansion, you'll find out -who- the Hero of Oakvale became. Yes the hero from Fable returned.

I think it was a loading screen tidbit that said he died in a perfect house behind a talking rock (e.g. Serenity Farm).

Correct. But Reaver Clearly hits that he is the Hero of Oakvale when you listen to his Diary.

why the hell would he go into hiding? hes the most powerful hero, he killed jack of blades no problem and is filthy rich by the end of tlc. He either died or is in another continent

Who knows?
he may BE on another continent.
for all we know, he's tanning himself and getting fanned by a few of his twenty wives in samarkand right now.

seriously though. we may see him in Fable III; dont drop your hopes. (but dont get them up either; it probably wont happen)

NO Reaver specialises in skill, the Hero of Oakvale was master of all 3. And reaver only said that he came from oakvale.

Plus, the times don't match for the hero and Reaver. He said he was but a lad when the hero of Oakvale returned.

Lucien also said he was a child when he met the hero, Reaver could have meant he just wasn't mature yet. Reaver also lives in what was The Hero of Oakvale's Bandit Camp, in the biggest house. Reaver has "unnatural youth" from the shadow court and although he is very old I don't think they're keeping him alive so much as stopping him from aging. Something William Black wishes he did before becoming Sythe.

Re: the first hero should have been in fable 2

But if you listened to Theresa on her babbling when you take the quest to first go there, the town of Oakvale was destroyed 150 years AFTER the original destruction of it by Jack of Blades in his search for the Hero's family. Says it again on a loading screen, too I believe.

At 150 years later, the Hero would hardly still be a "lad" he was an old fogey lookin fella by the end of Fable if you buffed him up enough. And I don't think he died either, just went into hiding after he beat the stuffing out of JoB.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it says that the Hero of Oakvale lived out the rest of his days on Serenity Farm. Still, it would have been nice as a cameo.
