Upgrade me browser?

Upgrade me browser?

Soooo, I have an oldie PC, HP pavilion, pentium 4 Windows XP (I am sure none of this makes a difference, it just makes me feel savvy with more than just internet activities and video games) and I use Internet Explorer, so, I am wondering if I should go to Firefox, I have heard "Dude Firefox rules go for it!" but I have also heard "Mac is awesome." from the same people, so I cannot trust them (Sorry, loyal Microsofter.)



So, coming from you guys, What are the Pros and Cons of FIrefox in comparison to the default IE?

i use google chrome. it's great.
pages load so fast, when i load internet explorer i wonder why it's even installed on my pc...like dead weight in comparison.

I'll certainly check it out, it isn't that I don't like IE, I't is fine for me, my only complaint is some flash toons and games lag, but that is more likely the flash player. Which I should probably check.

I use. It is nice. I tried google chrome, but it seems so... simple. Just tabs and the little menu up there.

fireFOX. the only thing i dont like is that it takes a minute to load the browser. of course, it could just be this poor excuse for a completely functional laptop's fault

I use chrome just for the sole fact I use the name Chromehound on things.

<3 Firefox. You can add all sorts of crap to it. I haz a media bar added so I don't have to keep switching detween itunes and ff. Also have a torrent search bar/auto downloader.

My respect for you just dropped by 3. And I don't use Firefox.

Chrome by far. It's fast, simple and customisable.

I just don't like Macs set up, I am not a PC gamer, I really only play Westwood games and when I am feelign bad I burn Sims alive.
So all my reasons for liking PC is simply I liked the way it felt ALOT more than Mac.

I actually use Chrome and it's not too bad, it's way faster than Firefox, but with less customization.

So:

Chrome
Pros: Very fast
Cons: Little Customization

Firefox
Pros: Huge amounts of customization
Cons: a little bit slower than Chrome

Internet Explorer
Cons: everything.

I have no idea. I'm not to tech savy. I use IE because I'm used to it and I'm lazy and resist change.
