Hello peoplez. I loved the original Fable game and there are simply some things I would like to see changed in Fable 4.In list mode:cool:.

*The aguments were an amazing way to customize your sword and should me put back.
*In Fable 3 every sword is legendary which is not that much fun.
*In Fable 2 remember that broken down place that used to be Oakvale? It was pretty awesome to see some events like that.
*I think they went far enough in the timeline. They should go back before the orginal game.
*Add those big trolls they were so fun to kill!
*Add some more bosses like the Kraken from Fable 1.
*Make a better story.Sorry but Fable 3's story was not that great.
*I would like to see all the tiers back from Fable 1.Like Iron, Steel and Master.(There were more)
*Add more fights with the Hollow. It was so fun to hear there crackling bones.
*Dont forget to add swords,hammers,maces,katanas,bow,crossbow.
*Jack of Blades (Jack of Blades does not need a period)

Ok I think that is it and I am sorry for the bad grammer at times.Thank you for reading this thread. So, you can stop reading now.Ok stop.Really.Stop!STOP READING.OK.I will stop talking than....see...ok...now...STOP! Really? Dude stop being mean. STOP!

Renown should work better
In Fable 2 I just shoved my trophies in peoples faces and got a lot
Also, you should be someone away from the fable 1,2,3 hero bloodline, a hero that works for the next king

Not a bad idea...it should be worth a try.

Oh yeah, and relationships need tweaking
If people like you, they follow you into your house. If you go into someone else's house, they send guards.

Okay, Fable 1 along with Lost Chapters was by far the best game i have ever played and it is the best fable.
I say (depending on the events in The Journey), the Darkness and Curruption plotline needs to end.
I think The Court should be responsible, mybe the knight or queen of blades?
I think the Spire was made to stop the curruption during the old kingdom days etc
Anyways i miss these:
-Tier armour and weapons
-weapon varieties (crossbow, axes, blunderbuss, turrests)
-Skill, Strength and will upgrades
-The old spell choices from 1 and 2
-Sense of Mystery surrounding Old Kingdom
-A long badass boss battle
-Maybe a heroes guild
-Scythe and Garth
-Trolls
-Temple factions
i also want to see these:
-Balvorn, The Court, Kraken, Trolls
-Old Kingdom Technology
-Akimbo weaponry

It'd sure be nice if they stopped de-emphasizing the RPG aspect of the game. Give us back all of the weapon/spell/outfit options from the first two. And for god's sake, have shops sell more than two freaking items, and don't make our carrots disappear when we buy fish, let us have a normal inventory again. Fix the maps - Fable 3's maps were horrible and useless, you couldn't even see where the hell you were. Let us pick our expressions, don't just keep making us cycle through them. Give us some boss fights - not that TLC's boss fights were super-challenging, but at least they had boss fights (says it all that Lionhead actually made an achievement based on getting through the game without falling in combat). Either make the dog more than just a metal detector, or can him. Bring back mini-games like gambling and stuff like that (which, as far as I'm aware, were totally gone from Fable 3). Fable TLC was amazing, Fable 2 was great, but in every way imaginable, Fable 3 was worse than it's predecessors.

I loved Fable 1 and personally believe it is the best in the series, two was ok, three was... playable. i think that in four they should go back to before the fall of the guild, it was obviously old and probably had a lot of good adventures. give us back our regular weapons, i hated that in three. and a regular menu system >< i was fine with the list format. oh and something they NEVER had a real working map! dont hijack me on a list or give me some quirky half wit three dimensional one. just a freaking map. i like the dog, but man please give us something more to do with him. the expresions were much better in two, and most of all. the freaking crime system. it was best in one, great in two but in three... i couldn't even begin to go evil, becouse i knew that if i hurt a vilager, even on acident i was in for a round of that terible job mechanic! it was perfect in two! why mess with it.

im sorry my post is so long but i needed to go on a rant with this....

Unfortunately, i doubt the fable 3 plotline is finished :/
Too many unanswered questions.. I believe the darkness was the return of the shadow court.. Perhaps the Shadow King that we haveyet to meet.. The children were referred to as minions that came from the void like those of fable 1.. I doubt it will go back in time :/
And i completely agree.. We need: a minimap, weapon variety, boss fights, shops, collectables, old spells, choice over morality, RPG style progression, a few answered questions, a colluseum etc
Damn it, fable 3 was terrible -_-
I want to play an old kingdom prequal.. Imagine that! :|

Ohh sure, the story was BAD but Lionhead wouldn't leave such massive questions unanswered. The story of the void and the court and its similarities to the shadow court have been a focus for fans since fable 2. The Knight, Jack and queen have fallen but the King is yet to be seen. Jack Of Blades far outranked The Crawler so he could not have been the King. The Void, Minions, Shadows were all mentioned by Crawler.
I think Fable 4 will expand on this.
Though I'd love to have a Heroes Guild or Old Kingdom plotline

Ever since Fable 2 came out, Peter Molyneux mentioned that they already have plans for a third, fourth and fifth sequel, so it can be safe to assume that the story told in Fable 3 is far from done. Maybe the Crawler is a minion himself to The Blades. He certainly works like a soul mask (Like how Jack of Blades lived for so long through his mask), entering the bodies of others and controlling them.

And you bring up a good point, too. The King was never mentioned at all in the lore. People of the Old Kingdom have only seen the Knight, the Queen and the Jack of Blades. Where's the King? Does he still stay in the Void from where they all come from? Does he even exist?

My theory: Look at how fast the settings change throughout the series. We were in the Middle Ages back in Fable 1. We hit the Renaissance in Fable 2, and we have the Industrial Revolution in Fable 3. If we follow that trend, we'd be in modern times in Fable 4, but how could a Fable be a fable if it was modern? Maybe, the Void opens up again, and this time the King comes through, and the people of Albion fall back into something similar to the Old Kingdom. When this "new" Old Kingdom falls (as the King is slain or stopped), Albion would go back to primitive times again. Its essentially an Atlantis-type story, where a great advance kingdom falls, leaving the survivors to restart civilization.

This is just a theory, and I'm really sure its in the wrong thread, so I'll add on some problems I have in Fable 3 that I want fixed in Fable 4.

Firstly, I want the game completely playtested. Lionhead is known to be incredibly lazy about playtesting, which is why the Fable series has almost more bugs than the Elder Scrolls series, and definitely has more game breaking glitches than most games. Next, I want the old menu system back in the shops. I find it tedious to walk to the other side of the shop to browse another item. Third, I want to be able to choose my animal companion. I'm getting tired of useless dogs. And finally, better customization.

Daniel Ray, you are a genius.. I never imagined a fable in modern times and it's reference to perhap an old advanced civilisation like Maya, Atlantis or Brasil.. Sounds interesting.
But wasn't the great old kingdom destroyed by the Spire not the Blades? The Archon William was the first ruler of the Old Kingdom after he slew the Queen? Also, could the "Shadow Court" be part of "The Court".. The Theresa-looking figure in the middle is referred to as "King" and he sent shadow being of like-ness to the Crawler's?
This is on the wrong thread so i should leave it now haha.
Yes, in every fable i have encountered multiple game breaking glitches.
I like Dog.. It is a feature consistant in fable and unique to other xbox games.
I love fable.. All Lionhead must do is look at what made fable 1 so near perfect and read forums such as these.

Exactly, you want. That's what doesn't work, it's not what you want. Some people out there might disagree with you, it's about Lionhead's view over the matters, but they should also listen to our thoughts in consideration before storing them away and saying "Let's do this"

Well, one can hope a lot about the chances someone from Lionhead actually goes through these forums, but, yes, I have to agree that this is what I want, and only that. There are TONS of other "wants" that exist in the Fable community, and of course, 99% of them get ignored.

Thanks for reminding me that. Yeah, it was the Spires that brought the Old Kingdom down. But who build the Spire first time around? Who came up with the plans? Interesting questions...

I know that Archon William became ruler for only a short while, and then went into hiding as Scythe because of the corruption of the Sword. Not sure how long that short while was, though...

Now that you bring that up, yeah... Initially, I thought it was Lionhead getting lazy and reusing models from Fable 2, but that you mention it, the shadow creatures from the Shadow Court and the Crawler's domain are exactly the same! Maybe they ARE the same, the Shadow Court and the Court from the Void. I'm starting to wonder if The Queen and the Knight were actually properly slain in the first place, because we've only seen Jack's mask thrown into the lava. We know he carried the other two masks, but they disappeared as his body disintegrated into the Void. Who knows? The Shadow Court is made up of three beings.

I'm gonna stop now before someone cries "WRONG THREAD!" :p
