Actually, I think it does. It's just not thrown out there. In the beginning the Prince or Princess tries to stop Logan from killing the rebels. Logan, knowing that the Darkness was coming and that only the Prince or Princess could defeat it, tried to make him/her understand the kind of choices...

The Hero's Sword and Hero's Hammer pretty much morph together. When you open the Melee chest on the Road to Rule, your weapons (both sword and hammer) evolve. You don't have to be using the sword, but it grows with the hammer. However, they will not look the same. EX: My sword has an arcane...
