Crap.

Its horrible, very very bad.

I had reasonable expectations, not high, just reasonable, and they didn't even meet them.

Sure it had that "Touch" thing, which I think was the best add-on to the game, but thats it.

It was more like a DLC game, not an actual "game".

Fable IV will probably be just as bad.

Though I don't agree, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
Fable 3 wasn't as good as I thought it would be, but I still really enjoyed it.^_^

What? Someone who liked the touch system? All you could do was hold peoples hands! Running after a criminal, and then having to frolic back through town holding his hand (when he knows exactly where he's going) is downright retarded.

Not to mention the fact that every escort mission requires it.

Also, is it just me or does the fact that at the start of the game, no one's even heard of a Balvarine, but as soon as you fight them in Reaver's weird arena house they're literally everywhere (including Millfields and Mistpeak) seem a little weird to you?

Not to mention the Hollow men. Page mentions that she never believed in them... I mean, seriously? They're all over the place!

I enjoyed it. You can't really say it's crap though, the company did put some work into it.

He's entitled to call it crap just as you're entitled to say otherwise.

However, Blue and Arse have two very valid points.

Hrm... I'm thinking I should make my own thread and just put my thoughts into that.

They should of spent alot more time on Fable III, it was rushed.. the gap between Fable I and Fable II is huge, but still, they did a good job.

What's the point in a secret society, without a little.. Secret?

That still doesn't explain how they end up being everywhere after Reaver's "party"

I can sort of see why there would be an increase in Balverine activity... to a point. All the 'passed out' guests at Reaver's party could have been turned into Balverines and then later left the premises. Assuming that anyone there wasn't already a Balverine. Without heroes going around and killing them, Balverines are big men on campus. Very few things are as tough as a Balverine. It makes sense that the complete absence of heroes fostered a steady Balverine population boom. I'm surprised the hero, Logan, or particularly Reaver didn't try to enlist the Balverines in the fight against the Crawler. You'd think they'd want to save Albion too. I mean, I'm sure the Balverines would have made some unreasonable and gruesome demands... but I don't think they would have flat out said "no."
If you side with the Balverines in the missing statue quest (as a king) then they tell the player to come back and visit sometime, and that you are always welcome in their forest.

i think i like the fable 3 forums the best haha
"Well sir, while I may not agree with what you have to say I'll defend to the death your right to say it."

Very fine words that I try to live by. Special emphasis on 'try'.

But if there were no Balvarines before Reaver's party, then why does the Silverpines village burn silver nitrate to keep them away.

I would enjoy a couple of bug fixes. And a few minor tweaks here and there but overall I enjoyed and liked the game.

I would like the old emote system back, going in and out (immature laughs go here) of the interact menu to find the expression you want is annoying.
Also I would like some new character models. Not a big deal but why are we fighting one or two sakers every time bandits attack?
Weapon models could use an update. Why is there like 4 weapons per design? Off the top of my head, Avo's Lamentation and the swinging sword look exactly the same, plus the hero's sword can get that same model too.
Property also tends to glitch sometimes where it is buyable then unbuyable then you can't sell it or repair it, ect.

I think with those + other bug fixes the game will be vastly improved, not that it isn't good already. It just needs a little fixing.

I think outlaying villages like the one in Silverpines are too far removed from civilization to receive protection from the crown (notice the absence of Albion soldiers that walk the streets of nearly every other town.) Obviously Balverines have always been a problem in Silverpines, it's just that not too many people know about it outside of that area. That, or they don't want to know.

It doesn't make much sense that the Balverine's are basically invading Mill Fields and consequently risking the wrath of the Albion army, but I can totally believe that there are as many of them as there are.

I feel the same way, except for the touch system.
I mean, how often do you hold a grown man's hand, when he asks you to lead him to some village?
I can understand why you would take a child by the hand and lead the kid out of a cave, but a grown-up dude? It seems kinda gay.
I'm not talking about when */spoiler* Walter is blinded (by the light) but when you have to escort various NPCs through the woods.

Worst. Fable. Ever.

compare the gaps between F1 and F2 to F2 and F3, I suggest they spend a lot longer then they did on F3 cause it is not a great game

They better make sure they get Fable IV perfect, and I mean absolutely perfect. They shouldn't just throw in jokes to try and cover up their failings in other areas.
