i cant get achievements

when the see the future game add on came out i download it and i started to notice it when my friend got almost got all the achievements and and asked me why i dont got them he said they are easy and i wonder why i cant i get the achievements

ok so your saying there easy but you cant get them? its the way you play the game then you should get better

You have to achieve these achievements. Surely you don't think that to get all the achievements you just have to download the DLC?

some of them you can only unlock by downloading the knothole island DLC.
those might be the achievments he's talking about.
