Hi All :)

Was just thinking about buying F3 for me and my girlfriend to play offline.

Whats the pros and cons of offline co-op?

Does the "2nd" player play as a henchmen or can you bring across your char from your own single player game?

Basically we don't want to have to play a game twice we want to play together and be able to level up and customize our chars :)

Thanks all Davey b 17

Pro
1) only one copy of fable 3 and only one xbox system needed to play in the offline mode.
2) each of you can play your own character, but the storyline quests is only saved on the first character. the second character still gets money and experience, but his/her storyline does not advance.
3) each player can customize their characters to their heart's content

Con
1) the second player is bound to the same screen as the first player. this could be problematic during combat with a horde of enemies. on xbox live, the two players can be at different areas on the map and still share the spoils of war
2) you will not be eligible to attain any xbox live achievements

Cool point of couch co-op, you can trade with an offline profile to transfer items between different saves on your profile, eliminating the need to find a transfer partner.

as mentioned before, you still miss out on online achievements which is like 50% of all of them
