Any of you ever get into battle rap?

It's been breaking out of the underground since the internet became a thing.

I'm amazed by how much improvisation and wordplay is involved. The first round is usually pretty premeditated but when they start responding to comments in previous rounds it can be pretty great.

A shining counter example to those that generalize rap/hip-hop as a collective entity of butt-shaking stupidity. I've seen a few rap battles in the past and it's amazing what some of these guys can spin out on the fly, but now I'm dying to see a clean-cut white collar gentleman take part in this.

Arsonal v. Shotty Horroh. Great battle there.

Eminem is trying to give this culture some spot light via pay per view. Total slaughter premiered due to mixed reviews due to a patchy lineup and technical difficulties. Arsonal gave a good performance though.
