Interesting name. It makes me think several things

• "Sir! Yes Sir!" Military responce.
• When Prince leagally changed his name to an unpronouncable sysmbol he was asked what people call him. He responded "Sir"
• What Marcy, from the Peanuts (Charlie Brown) comic, called Peppermint Pattie
