Forget a home she’s totally gonna toss you in a ditch.

...Atleast that’s what I have planned for my mother...

My baby girl is 2 today! I’m always amazed that I’ve kept her alive this long when I’ve had house plants that have gone to the big windowsill in the sky!

Seriously though, she’s so amazing and I’m so proud to be her mama!

Congrats! I'm still baffled one of mine has lasted for almost two decades. Must be doing something wrong there...

Current thoughts: my cat is only ever nice to me when I'm ill and the Last Person To Reply Wins thread has gotten real dark, real quick...

I wish Facebook would stop telling me I have messages when I don’t. It’s giving me delusions of being more popular than I am and then being smacked right back into reality when I open the app.

I wonder what fantastic new measures will be announced tonight, thus cutting half the country off from everyone else.

The better half, I might add.

Having lived in the south for 24 years I can honestly say that the north is far better in pretty much every respect. My son is desperate to go to the cat cafe in Liverpool now that he's old enough but with all the restrictions, that's not going to be a thing any time soon.

Current thoughts: Christmas may be cancelled in terms of our holiday to Yorkshire but Jake has a plan.

Pirate Pizza Party.

Gotta say, that's a winner in my eyes...

Cyberpunk 2077 comes out 4 weeks today and I’ll admit I’m getting a little hyped. Resisted the urge for years now...

Christmas tree up, lil ball of Covid on the top and all the food bought and stored.

Presents get wrapped tomorrow and then I'm done until Christmas Day. My holiday might be cancelled and this year might have been an abomination but I am not skimping on Christmas no matter what rules and restrictions get imposed.

Aviation cocktails and homemade pizzas all round!

I see Scotts influence has seeped into your veins.

Dont happen to have a money tree going spare do you? Even with my bonus and extra cash I made from eBay over last few months Christmas is going to cost a fortune and dont think my bank is ready.

He mentions the game everyday, multiples times a day. I’d be surprised if his influence didn’t have an effect on me by now...

If my kids ate like normal people and wanted presents then I would be financially crippled.

Josh wants a pack of bagels and some maoams. Jake wants a toy crab and a packet of jellybabies.

Jessica wants a lot of things but she's an adult so she can buy her own stuff - she's got a couple of cheapy things in a stocking but gift wise, she's too old to be splashed out on at Christmas now.

When it comes to Christmas it's rare to spend more than £100 all in, including food and drink.

I love Christmas and if it was up to me, it would be a tree the size of a planet, a massive dinner with all the trimmings and gifts piled up...but no one else wants that.

Bunch of Scrooges

Jack wanted a belt for his birthday... it cost £250... for a belt... :cautious:

Everything else he wants is Gucci, Ralph Lauren, Armani and cheapest items are around £200 each. Not to mention he eats us out of house and home daily. One day straight after dinner he ate a yoghurt, 2 bananas, an apple, a mixing bowl full of cereal, 2 bags of crisps, some cereal bars, a bag of roasted nuts and then a full bottle of smoothie and came down for more an hour later. He stood in the kitchen one afternoon and ate his way through a loaf of bread... straight out of the bag with nothing on.

Yup, Jessica has similar expensive tastes and I have heard tell of the fabled teenage boy appetite...as much as the boys' psychological issues with food irritate me, there is no way on this earth I could afford them to eat like regular boys do.

Jessica keeps trying to convince me that a vintage Prada something or other is worth two grand but she can kiss my backside. I don't do designer when you can get the lookalike from Primark

Ava and Poppy are machines when they get going too, and no child lock on earth stops them. They just raid the drawers and cupboards for all sorts. Weekly food bill more than doubled in the last few months & now Jacks spends a lot of time at the gym hes eating even more than mentioned above.

Nevermind - Cyberpunk got delayed again. Time to take the next stop off the hype-train...

...for now.

Local restrictions start Saturday...busy trying to sort out socially-distant walks with friends I won't otherwise see for at least 2 weeks.

I think Sir Walter would have the perfect catchphrase right about now...

Managed to meet a friend of mine the other night for a quick pint and when we worked it out, the last time I had seen him in person was Jan and this will be the last time for some time again.
