Of this year, I have played Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, and Fable III. I have been dying to obtain myself a copy of Red Dead Redemption.
Of those... Brotherhood has a more thought out storyline, and some great combat, and Assassin's Creed, ALWAYS... ALWAYS improves with their games. I find Brotherhood an extremely worthy title for the spot in my opinion.
However, like I always do, I always find Fable III drawing me to it. Once I beat Brotherhood I was like.. "Great game, very nice, pretty neat. Love it." However I had no motivation to freeplay on it... I had no motivation to continue or replay the game.
But Fable III? I did, I found myself WANTING to replay it, I found myself wanting to play it LONG after I even beat it. However, I seem to dislike the fact that the MAIN STORY was a bit to short, and the side quests could be sacrificed to lengthen it. I found it was hyped up like its predecessors. Nevertheless, I wanted it more, and more, and more. I WANT to play that game, unlike Assassin's Creed.
To put it simple, Brotherhood suceeds at the story, graphics, and combat, and new features... however it lacks a lasting impression.
Fable III on the other hand, lacks severely at length, and well-thought processes, however has a MUCH more greater lasting impression and the graphics aim high with Brotherhood. IF Brotherhood and Fable III shared the Pros of one another, then that'd be the game to reckon with.
Don't get me wrong, Brotherhood was MAGNIFICENT. And as opposed to many, Fable III was great and it did something most games cannot: It Delivered. We got everything we were told we'd get right? To my knowledge.
But from what I heard, Red Dead Redemption was great... since I ain't played it I won't know.
