Lol, I really miss back in the day when we had Hero Titles under our usernames. It wouldn't translate nowadays seeing as Fable 1 is so old. But it would be cool to have some flare to show off. Premium members could even have special ones nobody else can use, I think that'd be cool. Also, since Anniversary is coming out, it'd be cool if we got a new backround. I just hate everytime I'm posting something it feels like that Hobbe in the corner judging me o.O

I ****ing love that hobbe. That hobbe is my homeboy. You threaten my hobbehomeboy, we'll roll up on your house late one night and peer creepily around the corner of your door or window, judging you.

And then leave without a word.
 
Gotta say, I agree with Zarkes.

Yes, even after all this time... I STILL prefer vBulletin to XenForo. I'm sorry but that's just the way it is. Remember how excited you used to get when you see your thread has a little green icon next to it instead of orange, to show someone's made a new post in it?

...I do.

Our Devil May Cry forums have just have an overhaul so Steve may have plans to give the same overhaul here, have to ask him.

There is options for things like user titles as well as hotlinks to Gamer Tags/Social network Profiles (Twitter in this example).

As well as special usertags for thread starters (example from regular member).

Wow it looks brand new from what I remember. That's really sick. We could have golden acorns next to threads XD. I just know Steve normally does a graphic update with each new game, with Fable HD and Legends on the horizon I figure a new face is coming. If he does plan on a whole overhaul please let me know, I try not to bother him to much unless it is somehow important.

There are lots more possibilities with Xenforo than we have shown so far, mainly down to the hardships brought in by transferring over from vBulletin which was a task in itself. Also we have had to learn many new things with this software and wait for support to be fully fleshed out. So its likely in the near future we will be able to introduce things to the boards that you havent seen as of yet and bring some of the features people liked that we had on vBulletin to Xenforo. He doesnt mind people throwing him a message and we are always open to suggestions on improvements and new ideas.

Oh gosh I hate that, get a bigger better program to do stuff way better, is harder because new.Well there is alot more going on behind the scenes then I knew of, I just wanted to mull some ideas over so thanks for the info.

Hey are you still tinkering with game engine creators?

Steve had many issues when transferring/importing everything over from one software to another and we didnt have as many user created tools to play with from release. However as support has grown for Xenforo so have the new tools and we can now start exploring its true potential a little more than we could before. Steve is still throwing ideas around but he did say that an update is in the works for here too but as its a little more complicated here it was just taking a little longer.

I havent been as much as I should have been because my laptop hasnt been playing ball, keeps overheating when im on it for a length of time. Its becoming a real pain and seems to be getting worse, hoping to build myself a desktop after my wedding and honeymoon early next year.

Thanks very much, I will hopefully be rejoining the ranks of the PC gamers after about a 8 year absence afterwards when I have some spare cash. Been meaning to build a new one for years (if I can remember how). :lol:

Obviously cant afford it at the moment as all my cash is being put aside for the half payment of the wedding which is coming out in a couple of weeks. Then final payment comes out a couple of weeks before the wedding (which is in May).

I'm debating getting both new consoles or a pro rig, I just can't miss out on those exclusives.

Well that's awesome dude you should definitely post some pics after you get back from your hiatus!

I will still get a new console (likely an Xbox One as friends are sticking with Xbox) but shall also be able to game on PC too.

I shall post pics for sure. ^_^
 
Sadly CoD Ghosts, BF4 and two very naughty little children are taking up all Steve's time at the moment but if he is going to do anything new with this place, you guys will be the first to know about it. Probably before me, in fact. Which is sad,

Does Xenforo have a most recent posts thing we could add? I really miss being able to just see where the activity on the forums is.
