Imagine if she did appear like: ¨You thought I was dead!? Nah I am far older then any living creature so I can't die.¨ XD But as you mentioned is it most likely that she died or got teleported to a dimention.

That would be so extremly fun to be honest! I remember searching for game information from the Fable games back then and got this forum up. Reading and seeing how relative active it was were really fun, and I wish for it to blow up when future releases drops:D
