With how many times this game has been delayed now with very few trailer updates, and given what I have seen thus far, I am a bit skeptical this will capture the magic and atmosphere of the first two games.

Happy to be wrong, but I feel like this game will be one of those games that is "updated for a modern audience."

There will have to be an element of “modernisation” the gaming landscape as a whole has changed dramatically since the release of the last major Fable title. Kicking chickens & farting via an expression wheel is no longer the pinnacle feature of an RPG unfortunately.

Playground Games have enlisted a lot of Lionhead Studios talent as well as some industry veterans from some big franchises so hopefully they can craft a memorable RPG that makes people take notice of the Fable franchise once again.

Idk man. The original fable had diversity and it didnt try hard at all.

whisper and thunder and garth being examples.

Then just having an option to practice homosexuality.

I personally wasnt down with any gay ****, but to each their own.

Nowadays that "updated for a modern audience" makes me think of ****ty games like that star wars one that came out like a year/year and a half ago.

Chickens are a thing of Fable, though, so I hope they put at least something chicken-y in it.

I miss the times when they made games that look unique instead of having the modernized look that most games have nowadays
