Hey Sharon. Things are okay for right now, currently hanging out with my niece for the weekend, going to order a pizza and watch a movie.

Got some housework to get done, work is still the same, so not much else is going on. How are things with you and the new baby?

Pizza and movie - sounds like my ideal night in We're all not too bad - baby is quite unsettled still but that's largely thanks to builders but they should be finished in the next couple of weeks with any luck. Otherwise things are guuuud XD. Glad things are ok for you too - 'bout time they were

Yeah, things were just really bad before, so it's nice to be able to finally get some peace while not at work again.

What are those builders working on anyway? Seems they've been working on the house there since for like... forever. lol

An extension so we can give Steve an office and a bedroom for us - there's not enough space for 5 of us. It was supposed to be finished 3 weeks before baby was born and they're only just starting on it tomorrow. Had all the windows and doors replaced too...just a complete overhaul. Costing a small fortune but needs doing. I hate builders lol

Nice, I wish I had a little office and personal library to call my own. That's a ridiculous delay there, what on Earth were they doing for those 3 weeks?

Twiddling their thumbs, presumably. They hadn't kept us in the loop at all so in the end I rang up head office, had a bit of a meltdown on the phone and the boss turned up on the doorstep 15 minutes later. Sometimes whingeing works, I guess. Trying to convince Steve to let me use the upstairs box room as a library but he says no. Spoilsport...
