He got it early... not taken down yet... has lots of non-spoiling information.
Here is what I found out:
So I have played the first 30ish minutes and I will answer from what I can tell so far.
1) It feels like Fable 2 so far, still no minimap or anything and that breadcrumb trail is still there.
2) The response is fine on my end, I have installed it and I haven't gotten far enough into the game where the start button will take you to that sanctuary yet, right now it just brings up a menu and it pops up as quick as you would expect it to.
I have had one load so far and it was 20 seconds max.
Movement feels a bit tighter than Fable 2 but other than that it feels the same. I have noticed that interacting with people this time isn't as unwieldy.
Right now I can go up to any person press A and the screen fades in and out and a new menu appears with all the actions I can perform to them, when I press B I exit the "target lock" and can run around again. I can see this annoying some people but it is a welcomed change to me.
As far as the cinematic feel goes I can say it is MUCH better because the hero now finally has a voice. The few characters I have interacted with so far feel more alive bu the lip-sync is still a bit odd.
So far it is outstanding also I am a fan of the series, Fable 1 is one of my all time favorite games.
Also... I just came across that "hard decision" that Lionhead was talking about at the start of the game and yeah... It is a tough one I actually paused the game to look at this thread in hopes that I could delay the decision.
... I have no idea what I am going to do, the game actually has me dreading the choice... HELL YEAH!
Spoiler:
If you don't make you decision fast enough the game gives you a five second ultimatum! ... Unless you push the guide button.
Well as far as I can tell it still has the same structure as Fable 2. There are hub sections of the map that connect major towns and cities. I just ran through one and there were a few paths I could have taken, and it seemed MUCH larger than the Fable 2 hub zones.
Haven't had much combat experience yet because of the way the game is unfolding.
I have used the magic system a bit but I only have a super simple spell gauntlet right now and I haven't found another yet to mix them up.
No difficulty settings.
Well like I said this is my first outing into the world of HDMI but the graphics do seem a bit more crisp and detailed this time around.
1) New Jobs: So far I have seen two jobs and both were new from Fable 2. Pie Maker and Lute Hero. Both play similarly where you just have to press a sequence of buttons as a slider goes over the buttons. Like Fable two the longer you go without mistakes the faster it goes and the higher the gold multiplier goes up.
Unlike Fable 2 jobs do not auto upgrade instead you have to use the path of heroes and unlock the higher tiers of the jobs. I am assuming it is like this to stop people from grinding a lot of money early on and going on a buying rampage.
2) You cannot but houses and shops off the bat. You have to unlock the ability to buy houses and shops along the path of heroes. Right now I can buy and rent out houses but I cannot buy shops... yet.
3) Customizing your character is FAR better. It is easier to change cloths and using dye is much better now.
When I select the blue dye not only can I dye my clothing blue but I can pick the shade of blue I want to use. Very nice feature.
Check for more Questions and Answers in the thread, that there sums up Page 1 and 2.
