yeah, that was 1941, not 2007, which is probably why he didn't know what the hell you were talking about
your title makes it sound like you're talking about something that happened today since you're referencing today's date and not the day of the attack
and people know it as the attack on pearl harbour, not the attack on hawaii

Yeah, the year made me question what was going on. I turned on the TV expecting to see a story about Japan attacking us again.

I gots it memorized! It might not be exact but its pretty close. (My grandmother was born on the exact day Pearl Harbor was attacked.)

Oh sir, I know all about the nuclear bombs. Ask my teachers and they'll tell you I have done about 2 dozen reports on them... Fat Man (Nagasaki) and Little Boy (Hiroshima).

Hmm... with the names, it kind of makes it comical for something that tears the flying **** out of cities. I bet they feel the same about the bombings as we do about Pearl Harbor, but oh well. They started it. :lol:
