2nd half of the game help *major spoilers!!!*

Alright; so I got to the point which is the point of no return (wish they gave more of a hint) and came back to find things are not good. I planned to buy property and do random things and sit on my arse till I had a lot of gold and then I would become king, but it snuck up on me. I had 365 days and then after doing a days worth of things and all of a sudden its 339 days till the invasion. I want to do good things but I also want to raise enough gold. Do days pass normaly (like when you travel or just as time passes) or do they only tick away when you do the king decisions? Because if days pass slowly then I’ll just sit on rent money and sales (or making high cost pies) and a few quests.
Any tips or advice? …Or anyone willing to part with about 6.5 million gold?

Someone just told me that as long as I do not complete my kingly duties then days don't tick down. I sure as hell hope.

Whoeever said that was right, i figure it out today, so you can do all the court days until the one that has to do with the dwellers, cuz after that court you go straight in the war. So start buying everything to rais money without actually doing the last court, so that way your can still be good and still raise enough money, example being, when you get the big diamond, and the white balvorine statue, put it in the treasury so it will be good points, but then just go to the treasury room and transfer all the money to personel account, that way it will be in the sanctuary and you can buy stuff, then when you raise enough put it all back into the treasury.
