March 8, 2010 - If you've ever run out of space on your 360's hard-drive, or you've just wanted to back up or copy your files onto a separate 360 drive, your options have been limited to buying a whole new drive just to get the transfer kit. Now Microsoft is offering the kit by itself, instead of forcing you to pay for a new, potentially useless drive.

In order to transfer your data, you'll need an Xbox 360 with a hard-drive installed, an extra Xbox 360 hard-drive, the transfer cable, and the migration software that comes with it. The kit has an MSRP of $14.99.

This would definitely come in handy if I were to upgrade to a 250GB hard drive... hmm.

I haven't had a problem yet, I delete games I no longer have, my friend hates me for it haha. (I only keep my BEST favorite games and trade the others in when I want to buy another game, he keeps ALL his games and collects them. I only collect collectors editions.)
